Bill,

I am not saying you will need a firmware update but that it wouldn’t surprise me if you would, especially since your camera display is acting goofy.

It’s not the SD card slot but a USB slot where the firmware is updated. Yours might be different since I saw a HD camera box that I don’t have on my 2017 Anthem. There might be a cable already attached to your core USB for the dash USB plug. IF and when you do the update you will unplug the cable on the core and insert the USB memory stick there with the new updated firmware.

Bill, Yes the box is behind the front mounted TV. I have never seem behind the dash monitor. My Anthem was built July 2016

Found the control box behind front tv like you said. Easy access but another cluster of wires that I organized.
After all morning yesterday on phone with Riverpark, we finally, hopefully figured out problem. The first core was just defective when they tested it upon me sending it back…..second core was flashed, accidentally, as a 2020 Anthem and the cameras were trying to see the 360 image that I don’t have. When I went to upgrade firmware, it corrupted the core and shut it down…..luckily all this was done with Riverpark on phone under their guidance.
So now I wait, 2 day shipping , for number 3 core. Riverpark has been great to work with.
