2018 Cornerstone - K3 Chassis Dash Icons

Below are three photos.

The first shows a number of icons on the dash that light up when the key is first turned on.

The second photo is the same as the first, but I've added an arrow pointing to one icon in particular.

The third photo provides a closer view of that icon. As you can see, it looks sort of like a rabbit running.

Anyone have any idea what that icon means? Or better yet, a document that lists all of the icons and what each means? Yes, I did look through the documentation Entegra provided with the coach but couldn't find any such information.

Thanks guys - makes perfect sense (once you know).

In light of my recent experience with DEF-related Check Engine lights I'm just a BIT nervous about ANY icon on that dash!

Here's a .pdf file from my June '18 Spartan Academy titled: "Spartan Chassis Lightbar Message Center": Ametek Spartan RV User Manual Updated 4-6-17.pdf

It contains 45 pages of info pertaining to the Lightbar Messages (including dash icons).

Take care,
Stu

Do we Entegra coach owners have any ability to see the data screens that are shown beginning around page 10 in this manual (which appears to be an obviously different implementation that I have on my coach)? If we can see that, I sure as heck have never laid eyes on those screens.... If we can get them, help me, and show me the way to access them.

Hi Gary,

The .pdf of the manual is dated 4-6-17. All of the data screens are available on my '18 Anthem.

The OP (Larry) has an '18 Cornerstone and I believe that the manual applies to his coach, as well.

I'm not sure whether the advent of the digital dash still incorporates the Lightbar Message Center that looks like this:

IF you have the Lightbar Message Center installed, use the three buttons at the top center to view the various pages depicted starting on page 10. IF you don't have the Lightbar Message Center installed, I'd expect that there's some way to access similar info through your digital dash. Sorry, I can't help you with that.

Take care,
Stu

No buttons on my 19. Ill start looking for a new version manual. Just a big square computer monitor screen.

If i had to guess, the button function is probably one of the myriad mysteries of the control knob - "Joy Stick" on the control panel by my left arm.

Hi Gary,

That's the ticket!

Look at page 56 of your Owner's Manual for the description of the Vehicle Display Controller (VDC) including the description of how to access the various displays.

Based on what I see in your Owner's Manual, it looks like you have some different selections under the Diagnostics>System Info including Controller Area Network (CAN bus) info.

Have fun.

Take care,
Stu

Yes Stu .... I have already found the J1939 bus errors and SPN error codes but what I saw on that earlier display was that in the speedometer control, there was a lot of stuff that I have never seen like Trip 1 and trip 2 but then for those trips your average speed, the miles covered, your average fuel consumption etc etc etc and I have not seen those menus in my joy stick options.... like I said, maybe I have just missed those options somehow.
