2018 Cornerstones recalled for potential fuel pump failure

https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls?nhtsaId=17V441

July 13, 2017 NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 17V441000

Fuel Pump May Fail

An engine stall can increase the risk of a crash.

NHTSA Campaign Number: 17V441000

Manufacturer Entegra Coach

Components FUEL SYSTEM, DIESEL

Potential Number of Units Affected 18

Summary

Entegra Coach (Entegra) is recalling certain 2018 Cornerstone motorhomes equipped with Cummins ISX 15L engines. These engines have a fuel pump whose drive gear could possibly slip on its drive shaft, causing a fuel pump function loss, resulting in an engine stall.

Remedy

Entegra has notified owners, and qualified Spartan Service Center/Cummins Distributors will replace the fuel pumps, free of charge. The recall began on July 21, 2017. Owners may contact Spartan customer service at 1-855-589-9836 or Entegra customer service at 1-800-517-9137.

Notes

Owners may also contact the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to Home | Safercar -- National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

Is the fuel pump unique to Entegra Cornerstones? I would imagine it would be a Cummins-wide ISX issue.

I would think so as well (all the new ISX's with particular build dates). I couldn't find more info yet, though. Perhaps Entegra is ahead of the curve in notifying owners.

If you believe everything you read on the internet, from this link it looks like Cummins build dates 9/21/16 through 4/24/17.
