2019 Anthem Power

We are looking at the 2019 Anthem 44F, DW really likes the unit a LOT. I am a little concerned with it being pushed by a 450. We have a Dutchstar 4018 being pushed with a 450. We tow a Jeep Cherokee and have no problems with 6% grades. (Concerned with weight difference). So my question to all you 44 ft Anthem drivers out there.
Do you have any trouble going up 6-7% grades (short or long)?

Our aspire is powered by the 450 and we tow a suburban or a 6000# boat and have no problems. This entegra is hands down the best rv we have ever had . We have had 15 others! Buy it!!!!!!!

No problem at all. If it was under powered, I would have sold mine long ago.

I’m not sure what you expect to do, but if you own an ISL-450 already, then my guess is you will see no difference. I have had my Anthem up and down the Rockies of Colorado and the Sierras 7% 6 mile grades and have been happy. The Cummins interacts beautifully with the Allison. You won’t climb a 7% grade at 60 mph.... you might be in 4th and traveling 45-50.

If you look at my signature line, you will see I just bought a 2019 Cornerstone with a ISX 601. However, the extra 151 horses had NOTHING to do with my interest in the Cornerstone.... my 450 Anthem had all the horses I needed

You😍’ll be fine!

Gary, you might want to take yours back, the other Cornerstones are coming with 605's. Don't want to see you short changed.

For George & Kathy, I did a search for Entegra's being under powered....nothing showed up except a couple of good break downs by Cruzer and others saying how well the 450 was on the hills.

Thanks everyone my concern was the extra weight and it looks like that will not be a problem. Just want to make sure that I have all my bases covered before we start the ordering process.

I agree with earlier replies. Plenty of horses under the hood.
