2019 Aspire motor not starting

2019 Aspire 42DEQ

17,000 miles on engine - Cummins L9 450 HP

Engine cranks but will not start

After I do two cycles of trying to start motor (holding start button 2 seconds as engine cranks) voltage is down to 11.9v

Batteries (2 batteries - 12v) are original factory batteries

It's about 40 degrees Fahrenheit outside

Am I missing anything before I call Entegra tomorrow morning?

It may need more than 2 seconds on the button.

How long has it been since she ran?

Charge the batteries before you try again if she's struggling to crank.

Have you had any service done lately?

Try starting with the battery boost. Not sure about how your boost switch works. I think you will have to hold the button down wait a few seconds and then try starting. Might be the batteries are to low to spin the motor over fast enough.

Do you press the start button and wait until the lights go out and then try and start?

More power the better when starting. Are you plugged up to shore power? Or is it possible to run your generator?

Batteries are probably weak, plug block heater in for at least 4 hours so it is not as hard to turn over. Crank engine longer in colder weather.
I have already had to replace my starting batteries in my 21, the 19 is probably on borrowed time.

The batteries on my 22 were bad and have been replaced already.
I first started seeing my digital dash reset and the engine turning slow when starting the engine. This was in warm weather.

Next I had to use battery boost switch to start the coach.

Spartan load tested the batteries and they both easily failed under load even though they showed good voltage.

These coaches don’t come with great batteries. Not exactly apples for apples but my F-150 battery made it 7 years.
