2019 cornerstone head unit
My head unit does not power up so I have no radio, gps or backup camera. My screens are black and won't power up. The dealer told me I had to buy a new unit, but I really do not want to buy the crappy Xite unit my coach came with. Can anyone suggest which radio with backup camera and GPS will work in my coach besides the Xite? I want the new unit to fit perfectly like the factory unit.

Several other threads on XCITE replacement speak of Kenwood products, but only thing is most say don’t work with back up camera’s and some say they do??
I have an XCITE as well that can’t get map updates on, is very sluggish touch screen and bluetooth doesn’t work, but back up and side cameras work so still keeping it. Use dash Garmin RV GPS for routes.

Friend's 2019 CS had same problem. He was leaving on a trip and MHSRV had to order a board. Been 3 weeks without cameras. Talked to him yesterday and said that they started working again.

The power on/off is controlled by the shaft onto which the silver knob is attached. The silver knob can have a tendency to slip on the shaft so that pressing on the silver knob doesn't sufficiently push the shaft into the head unit to activate the on/off before the silver knob comes into contact with the glass panel on the head unit. Try pulling the silver knob off the shaft so you can press on the shaft directly. You may be able to get the head unit to power on/off. IF that works, you can just gently push the silver knob back onto the shaft such that the silver knob doesn't strike the glass panel before the shaft has sufficient travel to activate the power on/off.
Some have placed some small object (very small wad of paper) inside the shaft hole on the silver knob to prevent the silver knob from sliding too far onto the shaft.
Take care,
Stu

I had to do what Stu is saying in my 19 and 21, both with very little use. I folded a small piece of paper and pushed it down with a tooth pick.

That knob slipped on the shaft some on my 2017 coach. I learned to be gentle with my on / off press. Hopefully that is all you need. That will sure be lucky for you.
The design that you have to turn this unit on when you start the coach is different than most vehicles. But some coach owners leave their cameras on when parked. I tend to just turn that system off when we park and turn it back on when I start the coach to leave.

thanks for the response, tried that but nothing happened. I called Xcite tech support and they advised me t unplug the head unit which is under the dash as you enter the coach, However the gray plug is in back of the unit and I can not get my hand in their to unplug it...gotta find someone with tiny hands to unplug the head unit. I will keep everyone posted..

Power for the head unit ony my '18 Anthem comes from a circuit breaker (B31) on the G6 panel over the passenger seat. You can trip/reset that circuit breaker to cycle power to the head unit.
Take care,
Stu

I've tried all the above suggestions however no luck, unit still wont power up. I even checked the plug that provides power to the unit and it had power, so i think the unit is toast.

Have you checked with RiverPark to factory troubleshoot. They have been great to work with. Never know what they may offer up.
