Going to Idaho falls in morning to pick up the trimark unit.

The coach is 19 days out of warranty and Spartan is going to pay for the shipping and the trimark module. We are going to install it so no mechanic charge

Hope you miss most of the rain down there, looks like Houston may not get the heavy part. Be safe.

We are in Yellowstone at the moment. Just talked to my son, we live on northwest side of Houston, He said little to no rain, lots of wind and power outages.

Leaving to pick up part now.

Talked to both Entregra and Spartan yesterday. They both said that the connectors that go in the trimark are done by Spartan, The pins that are not in the connectors are left out by Spartan. It depends on the manufacture if they are going to use the wires or not and the manufacture plugs the spare ones in if needed for features on their coaches. Glad to know that they had not fallen out of the connector.

Drove 98 miles to Fed Ex Idaho Falls terminal to pick up the trimark.
Opened up box before we left. The part number on the unit was different but looked the same. Also came with 2 new keyfobs that were synced to the box, and instruction manual for installing the module.
Drove back to Island Park, Idaho.
Took about 5 minutes to install. After install we hit the low air switch, brake and light lit up solid green. Pushed the button and engine fired right up. Left engine running, loaded up and headed out.

Want to thank again Justin that works for NIRV for all of the help of trying to get the engine started on a Sunday. Everything he came up with and we can up with did not work until the new trimark unit was installed.

We are so fortunate to have NIRVC and Justin as a sponsor. That is one of the weird troubleshooting incidents on a new coach, unless you have been through it, that is hard to diagnose. To have some call that has been through it a few times, then on a Sunday is something I have never seen from a sponsor since I joined the forum in 2007. WTD Justin for getting TurboJack and his friends coach on the road.

Had a similar thing just happen with my 2019 Aspire 44B when it was in for the fuel rail recall. (Incidentally, they also did a parking brake recall from 2018 that we only learned about when discussing the fuel rail with Spartan. Don't know how the dealer was able to sell the coach to us in August, 2019 without having had this done.) Prior to bringing in the coach for service we had difficulty starting it a few times during a recent trip but had concluded that the battery in one of the fobs was the culprit.
Anyway, Cummins Northwest had trouble starting the coach even after replacing the battery a few times in the key fob (the one that had given us trouble on our trip) that I left with them, and I guess the issue persisted even after I delivered the second key fob (which we hadn't suspected was a problem) to them. Upon further investigation, Spartan admitted to a series of difficulties with the keys/fobs and that control module under the passenger side dash. Cummins NW showed me a service bulletin addressing this very problem. Spartan sent a replacement module and two new fobs and so far it seems to work but it's not even been two weeks since I picked up the coach. Time will tell, I suppose.

Starting Issues

I have a 2019 Anthem. Frequently encounter this starting issue. Blinking green light. Always get it going but often takes a hour or two. I’ve learned to never shut down at fuel stops! Called Spartan and they gave me several fixes that didn’t work. They then Refered me to Entegra who suggested checking fuses numbered 10 and 15 in the front compartment under the drivers seat. Fuses were good. Since this starting issue is sporadic it is difficult to diagnose. I recently discovered that if I turn on the alarm system wait and then turn it off it often starts.

If I were you I would get a new Trimark unit now before you get stuck. I was told that NIDRV had replace 3 the week we were stuck.

I have a 2019 Anthem that did the same thing. Spartan replaced the box and both key fobs.
