2020 Accolade question

We currently have a 2014 Tiffin 33AA. My wife & I love the coach except for one concern. Crosswinds can sometimes make for an exhausting day of driving. We had Henderson's in Oregon add various suspension up grades which helped. My wife will drive only in light to no winds. I have developed some problems with my hands which makes it difficult to drive for more than a few hours. I have never driven a Super C but have been told that they are more like a large SUV and that unless winds are above 25 mph handling is not affected as much as it might be in a similar size Class A coach. Also, the Accolade fits our budget.

Our two questions are: 1) How does the Accolade handle/ride and 2) how maneuverable is it? Our couch is 35ft long and we can drive it down a slight hill and turn it around to back in our MH garage. Comments and thoughts are appreciated. Thanks.

Robert, sorry to say, but the Accolade hasn't been around Entegra that long, so doubt if you will get much of a response here. Might want to post on the Jayco forum and ask about a Jayco Super C ... I think it is called a Seneca ... it is the same as an Entegra Accolade, just with less bling. (my understanding anyway). After Thor bought Jayco and Entegra, they decided to brand some of Jayco's offerings as an Entegra by adding more upscale interior type stuff. The chassis and handling of the newly branded class C's (mostly) will be the same as their Jayco brothers. Make sense?

We bought our Accolade in October. We are very happy with the handling and ride of the coach. We bring ours into a driveway and I have a gravel turn around that I use to turn out around and then back it into its parking spot next to the house. It is much easier turning this one around in the driveway than it. was my prior rig which was a Thor Challenger 37ND.

If interested I suggest going over to the Jayco forum and looking at the thread on Seneca Mods. Also, you will find more useful info on the Accolade/Seneca over there than you will on IRV2.

Thanks. I tried the Jayco forum but wasn’t very responsive. Really interested in how it handles in a moderate to strong crosswind. We’re thinking the bath and half would be our choice. Thanks for your information.

I didn't see a question from you on the Jayco forum. I did see a new registry entry from someone regarding an Accolade but it was basically blank.

If you posted the same question over there that you posted here and phrased it as Accolade/Seneca you would get a bunch of responses form folks that have had a Seneca for years to include info on all of the available floor plans.
