2021 Anthem slide lubrication

Iím curious what everyone does, or what is the proper lubrication is to use on the actual slide mechanics. Not the seals, the main support structure that the slide rides in and out on. Thanks in advance.

Use silicone for squeaks and light lube only. You don't want a ton of lube that can only attract dirt.

We were told to NEVER put lubricant in the rails they're designed to not need any. Eight years still working OK.

X2 and that went back to Travel Supreme. Both companies told me no slide lubrication except for the seals to keep them pliable.

I was referring to mainly the roller axles. They can squeak. Silicone will work in that case. Lubing the pin gear does nothing, correct.

You want to use a silicone spray that will dry and not attract any dirt. You can do as much as needed to address the squeaks and squeals.

I use 3-n-1 Rubber Seal Conditioner and it is by far the best stuff I used personally. Available at Lowes.com (great price) and most likely HDepot.

Slide Lubrication (Don't)

I asked Don Brubaker that question during a plant tour in Middlebury, and the answer was "they don't get lubricated". No problems with the slides in five years.
