Wasn't there a law passed federally that mandated that ALL state and private toll pass systems needed to be compatible and inter-operable by like a year or more ago..... hung up like everything else that is important?

I believe the deadline was two or three years ago - and it was ignored. It seems there is no penalty in the law for non-compliance so no urgency on anyone's part to get it done.

Yes, but that was supposed to have happened a year ago. After living on Pensacola Beach for 10 years and putting up with their toll plaza issues, I wouldn’t expect a standard system in our RV lifetime!

I have to agree. It was many years before Lee County became part of the SunPass system, we have three toll bridges. It took about 2 years to get all of the scanners and equipment changed over. I don't look for another change in my RV lifetime either.

I had this problem in my 2017. Fixed it by adding a small pancake fan inside the vent on the inside panel. It fits very easily and I powered it off the lead on the radio designed to run a power amp relay, so it only runs when the radio is on. I have to concentrate to hear it running.

Get a Sunshine Pass for Florida. The one I have is registered to my coach and both tow vehicles and can be used in any of the three since it is moveable.

I have the SunPass and pay extra for the transponder that can be moved to all my vehicles too. But it is only good in the Carolina's and GA. I still need a usable toll window in states I don't travel enough to warranty a transponder

2021 Cornerstone "features"
The point is not what pass to use. The point is the potential(since I haven’t seen it in person) stupid drivers window access. Perhaps time to see Angie’s video fed. If I can fit it in to my busy schedule of eating and sleeping!

Newmar actually offers an option that is a toll tag system that claims to work with all systems. The catch is it is a subscription service that costs every month besides the toll. Don’t know much more about it as I dropped interest when I found that out. I think all of our systems out west will take a picture of your tag and bill you if you don’t have a tag that works. No toll booths available anywhere out here that I am aware of. The Oklahoma Pike Pass works in Kansas, Oklahoma and north Texas but not in Houston yet but that is coming soon so almost all toll roads in the southwest will be covered.

I guess both won't be happening.
Figured it out after reading the newly purchase 21 from NIRVC. The 21's are west coast coaches....they don't have tolls out there.

Haha. It is hard to believe that anyone at Entegra would find that window configuration to be a “feature” and not a “flaw”. Seems you would need to be a contortionist to navigate an old school toll booth.
