2021 Entegra Aspire riding rough today
My coach is riding rough across bridges bouncing more than usual on the front and even enough to slam open and close the door above my head. I’m in Ohio and the temperature is 53° could there be something to do with the weather causing some problems with air shocks. Front tires seem to vibrate also but all the temperatures are good. Any help is much appreciated.

Many have changed to Koni front shock for the reasons you are describing. Use the green search bar at the top of the page and search "Entegra Koni shocks" to see what others have experienced.

Are you positive that your coach is at ride height? That would cause it.

I don’t mean the tire pressure, I mean that the coach was aired up to ride height. Don’t take the gauge’s word for it, always go outside and make sure the coach is at the right height via the space between the wheelwells and the tires. I’m not explaining it correctly .... maybe someone else can.

Some sections of some roadways are just that rough. A series of bridges on Interstate 55 on the Arkansas side of the Mississippi River near Memphis will take you on an overly exciting thrill ride if you going much over 40 or 45 MPH.

Good catch Lynn. I thought the newer coaches were exempt from not airing up like the Classics were. Somethings from the Classics never die. We all learned something, thank you. The 21's now have an air delay when using the jacks of 6 minutes before they dump the air. Still don't see the point in that one, except for people dumping air before putting the slides out.

Coaches will sometimes not come to ride height and you have to confirm it. On my Anthem, I could stick my clenched fist in the space from the top of the front steer tires to the top of the wheel well when the coach was properly at ride height. As Lynn picked up, there are times when your coach will not come up to clearance even when you do all that you are supposed to do. So, I got into the practice of seeing if I could stick my clenched fist into the space above each of the tires. On 5% of the times I aired up, I discovered it was not at proper height, and you are right, the ride if you are not up to ride height is a real bronco ride..... just terrible. Happened to me on my second drive ever from the RV park that I decided I would go to when I picked up the coach to learn the systems.... when I left, this happened, and it was almost impossible to drive the coach. Also, you can really damage the front wheel well if you are not at all near ride height as the wheels will not turn fully.
Good that Lynn caught it and you got it under control. You will eventually just be able to look at how the coach is sitting and know, but until you can easily "see" the proper ride height, it is good policy to check it with some known distance.
Its still part of my final "walk around" prior to sitting down and putting her in drive.

One more thing. Before hitting retract all make sure your air pressure is close to max on the gauges. There have been instances in the past where people raise their jacks and then start the Mh to air up. You need air pressure to shift the shuttle valve so the bags will fill with air and Mh will air up.
