You will need a 3 foot piece to go between the cord reel and the EMS. The current piece from transfer switch to cord reel will now go from transfer switch to the EMS.
Later...

NIRVC will have any extra cable if it’s needed. I wouldn’t purchase any. The simulator you need to call Shannon parks at the Dallas store. 469-277-1330

You can probably buy exactly what is spec'd at any good local electrical supply house. I did. I bought maybe 3 feet and that did the trick!

You will have to cut and re-splice a 12 volt cable reel motor feed wire that has to be cut to get the reel far enough out of the way to work. I used butt connectors which I then soldered and finally covered in electrical tape.

My HW-50 simply sits on the floor. The remote installed above the reel switch location.

The flexible cable Gary purchased is only a few dollars a foot. I also picked up the connectors there. The electrical supply has them in bulk and much less than packed lugs.

I think it is just the cable from the reel to the HW50C, isnt it?.... no plug, IIRC

I should have clarified that. This cable with plug would allow installation via an outlet to be able to insert an auto transformer as well. As others mentioned, just cables and connectors will do the job. No need for outlet to have the Progressive.

Final update. I took all your recommendations and my own previous experience and decided to not do any of the nonsense the tech recommended. Multiple plug ins and disconnects so far, no problem. Transfer switch, and the dog, do what they are supposed to, and the coach seamlessly goes from AC to DC without a hitch. Vega touch goes to charger function and keeps batteries charged as expected, with no interruptions. Not sure what all of that was about, but there seems to be great confusion over there regarding the standard procedure, vs what I think was a “coach or battery reset protocol.” Thanks for your input.
