Holy crap. I'm sorry but I thought I had issues with me 4 year old Jayco Precept (and I do). Nothing like yours. If I knew where you were here in South Carolina I'd bring you a strong adult beverage to drown your sorrows. Hope things get better......quickly.

Sorry, you had to experience an all too common scenario. Car, boat, motorcycle, and RV dealers exist because we all like that brand new smell.
Used to live near that General RV dealer in Ashland. Great place for parts, IMO. Never bought new units there. I only walked though them for kicks.
Two pop-ups, three 5th wheels, four boats and one Gulfstream motor coach I bought all used, never new for the very same reason you experienced. The only things I bought new were cars and a motorcycle, with very minor issues.
We are living in our 2018 (bought used 6 months old) Landmark 5th wheel 8 months now and traveled over 5000 miles prior to this. I too, do all my own work, or else we would be homeless. Way too many issues major and minor to list here. From slide floor replacement to suspension and slide failures. Even had to buy a welder on the road to get back home. True story.
Again, I feel for you. Just think of all the memories and stories RVing has provided your family. Keep smiling, it's only going to get worse.

I'd consult an attorney familiar with MH lemon law. Be careful as I've heard General RV and Camping World have Dewey, Cheatum and Howe as their law firm, headquarters in Hell MI! 😄

I am dead serious, take the coach to the factory!!!!! Once an Attorney is involved, everyone goes into defense mode and the only winner is the attorney. I have been there with my 14 and speaking from experience. Even when I was mad enough and called my attorney, he gave me the same advise, try to to work it out with Entegra first. It was great advise, it's now 3 Entegra later.
In addition to even start with a Lemon Law action, the same item(s) has to tried to have been fixed by an authorized factory service at least 3 times. Has that been done?
Too bad we have not heard back from the OP on what is transpiring. For all we know, the coach may have been picked up and already back at the factory.

^^^ This! Once an attorney is introduced, it is immediately out of the hands of any front line manger or tech. All correspondence must go through legal at that point. Really only relevant for last option scenarios.

I appreciate all the feed back. I wrote this post to let every potential Entegra buyer know my experience so they can make an informed decision. Knowing at I have fixed most the items on the coach and will continue to do so. As I mentioned Spartan was great and made some appreciated concessions. Entegra has not been great, and again I will never forgive them for letting my MH leave the factory in the condition that it was in.

I my 14 was a coach that never should have left the factory either, also admitted by Entegra. However the factory method worked a lot better than the complaining method. Many of us that purchased Entegras did so for the 2 year warranty. Those that do not take advantage of that and scream their problems to social media for all to see are not taking advantage of the warranty. From experience, that is time and money out of the owners pocket, I also did a lot of the repairs myself.
I just returned from my 2 year warranty call..the AIM, where everything coach wise was awesome including Entegra finding items I didn't even know were bad. From admission, most of the items have been repairable, it seems like it's more of a bad dealer issue. Being General RV, I'll buy that. Much sucess moving forward.

Agree it should never be an attorney issue or lemon law. If the coach had been just taken to Entegra when the owner realized there was an over the top amount of issues. It would all have been fixed period. All the entegra bashing is unwarranted. I appreciate BROBOX sharing his experience and insight on how to correctly address this type of issue. We love our Anthem. Would buy another but it will be a low miles used 44B

Time for a do-over
From my work at two of the largest RV companies that are considered "less-credible" than General RV, they have sadly proven to be focused on the CASH in the deal.
I would have driven it to Entegra, handed them the keys and requested a comprehensive quality examination of the entire unit immediately while they paid to put you in a hotel (which they will). I have my own Entegra issues, but not like yours.
Very sorry to hear and I would not have been as professional as you were.

On post 21 Mike stated that an Entegra is hand built. What does that mean ? Are other mfrs. using robots or maybe monkeys. All rv s are hand built. Actually more like assembled.

All the problems did not show up all at once. So, I could have driven 14 hours one way for a total of 24 and spent at least a week of my free time, and I guarantee you I would have had new problems on the way home. I had four new problems on my last trip and I have 6500 miles on the MH. The bottom line is that Entegra needs to do a better job checking out the motorhome before they leave the factory. They also need to do a better job on identifying problems and letting customers know, and fix them on the production line. They leave it up to the dealerships that don't care (not all of them) or don't have the capacity or knowledge to deal with it. I can't imagine what I would be going through if I was not able to deal with the problems myself. After every trip I would have to schedule it into a dealership maybe 4-6 weeks later and then get it back whenever after that! I am sorry but that is bull!!!!!!!

The manufacturers and in this particular case Entegra would benefit greatly if they hire some technicians and or engineers from the Aviation industry. They are trained to identify problems before they happen, they know how to implement quality control procedures, they know the importance of communicating problems to existing customers, and fixing the production line.

We have to remember that the rv business morphed from mobile home mfrs. Some of you may remember that those mobile homes were just slapped together. Many if the early rv mfrs. were from the same family. Holiday Ramler people started Kountry Air. The Miller family were involved in many start ups. There were no engineers. Some of the early units were built almost one at a time. Fast forward and many problems developed when the assembly lines changed from slow to fast. The workers turned to drugs. Yes ,drugs is a serious problem. Even CC and Monaco in Oregon had drug problems. I have not been on a factory tour for more than 10 years. Tiffin had the worst workers I have ever seen. The whole line was chaos. Newmar was at a slower pace and the quality control showed. Just before Fleetwood went under they built 2 new plants. One in PA and one in CA. We toured the PA plant and it was impressive. Fleetwood had a reputation of bad quality. Delamn, bad plumbing and more. This plant was different. Examples: They were using a new Pex plumbing system. The mfr. of the components trained the umbing installers. The lines were all assembled in a jig. Both the fresh water and the drain lines had to hold pressure fir a preset amount of time. They had a fancy board that tested the 12 volt systems. The delamn was caused by water inteusion below the windows. Now all windows had a special waterproof material applied before the windows were installed. Painting was done in a separate building almost 1/4 mile long. A special fireproof building held the paint mixing area. Paints were piped to the paint line. We noticed that many of the painters were women. The painters used a special manlift and traveled the line. Very impressive. Alas the 08 drop in sales killed the RV industry and FW closed. Rev took over and all that quality is gone. In order to compete all the mfrs. changed their mfg. procedures. They started buying components from outside sources. Lippert ( I think that word is junk in some foreign language) supplies: toilets, mattresses, horrible slide out mechanisms and much more. Many of the US based component mfrs.have been sold. Customer service and quality is gone: Power Gear,Fantastic fan,Atwood and many more. The end result of this long post is that quality is no longer important. As others have stated having a good selling dealer is very important. Good dealers have become rare.

Thanks for the reply although after owning two Entegras which have been a great experience you’re posting and most replies are like sour grapes in my mouth. I would say just sell it and stop complaining.
I am unsubscribing to this post. Best of luck
