Foretravel is a great coach but factory tour was not the reason. Foretravel factory is 150 miles from my home and got a really great deal.

I posted that video simply because someone asked for a video. It was on the top of the search results, so I spent like 15 seconds searching and watched a lot of it as it was too much of a "wow" factor for me and didn't want to post some "slanted" video.

I've never been to any factory and I'm sure not all factories work the same so hopefully that isn't representative of how *all* RV units are built.

Maybe this summer when I'm back out in Indiana I'll take a tour of Newmar and Entegra just to compare for my own curiosity how class A's are built vs travel trailers.

I know no one in here wants my .02, but just an observation.
I see threads like this all the time on here and elsewhere and it's Always the same.

Guy makes post venting his frustration with Actual Problems he has endured. He is absolutely correct to post his experience and failure from his purchase.

There is some initial responses agreeing with his frustration yet adding some mild ideas to help going forward.

Then some brow bashing of the industry is thrown in (deserved IMO).

Then the current owners of said brand come to the defense and "suggest" the OP is not following the correct path to remedy His problems.

More bashing by "non-owners"

More defense by current owners with some gentle and not so gentle hints that anyone who doesn't own one shouldn't even dare reply to the issue.

OP chimes in, standing firm that he is not happy and hasn't done anything wrong (and he's 100% correct here).

Current owners really getting defensive now.

Op is now straight told he's handling this amazing company wrong.

Insults to non-owners about to ramp up.

Mods close thread.

Maybe some will see the irony and humor in this post, but probably not.

Unfortunately this is how most online forums work. The reality of it is that the vast variances of personalities and opinions cause these wild swings in comments and this will not change.

Having to deal with fixing items on a MH, boat, Overlander, etc is just part of the ownership. In my boating voyages, I’ve had countless things to fix, systems to rebuild while at sea that never seemed to end. HOWEVER, unlike the OP, I have not been put in the position of purchasing a new MH for hundreds of thousands of dollars and everything goes to crap. I cannot put myself in his shoes but I’m pretty sure I’d be mad as well. Truthfully, there is nothing any of us can do to help him but I’m sure he’s processing his options and working the direction he wishes to go. So in summary to the OP, I feel for you and hope you make some progress for your own well being and peace of mind.

I started this post to let people know what I have been through, so maybe they could avoid making some of the same mistakes that I made. Not to insult current owners or anyone else. I truly hope, and want to believe I own a good MH that my family and I will enjoy for years to come. However, that has been difficult thus far.
