2025 Cornerstone 45B - Accessing HDMI Input on Main TV

We just took delivery on a 2025 Cornerstone 45B (FL), and I'm currently parked at NIRVC-Atlanta. I thought I would hook up our Roku Ultra to the main TV (living room), but apparently the inputs are all on the back of the TV -- and on the right side (facing). The TV is fixed mounted above the fireplace in a fashion where there is ~1 inch clearance on the right and ~3 inches clearance on the top and bottom. There's lots of clearance on the left, but my arms (nor LeBron James') are long enough to plug in the HDMI cable from my Roku on the right side of the TV.

Unfortunately, I can't even see (my scope is packed somewhere) whether Entegra left an available HDMI slot for auxiliary equipment. There are a couple of boxes in the cabinet (under the TV, above the fireplace) which appear to control/distribute signal to the other TVs in the coach -- can I plug my Roku Ultra into one of those boxes?

I have a lot to learn (not just about the A/V)!

Stan

I'll ask someone in the dealership tomorrow.

My 2022 Aspire has an HDMI switching box, see photo below. In my Aspire "W" floor plan it is located with the DVD player in the cabinet above the TV lift on the right side. Mine has one empty HDMI connect port. Using the switching box will allow you to use the Roku on any TV.

Look in the entertainment center cabinet. Entegra has installed additional HDMI ports in there for additional entertainment devices such as yours, Fire Sticks, etc. Cant' tell you where in a 25, but on the wall or part of the switching system in the past years.

Some people like to connect the external boxes like Ruku, Fire-stick, Apple TV, etc to the switching box. Sounds like on your coach that might be easier.

I prefer to go direct to the TV with my Apple TV and use the ARC HDMI Port on the TV. We just use the main TV.

I remember it being a challenge to get an extra HDMI cable on my B floor plan 2017 TV. Sounds like it has gotten even worse to get to the HDMI ports.

Thanks DarkSideJeep.
Your picture looks the same as my set-up. The black box on the bottom is a Sony BluRay player. The box on top appears to be the distribution center for all of the TVs in the coach. Each TV has inputs for DVD (presumably, the BluRay) Satellite (which we won't use, since we will stream the Roku via cell phone hotspots or StarLink), Radio, and Auxiliary.

I suppose I could unplug either the Satellite or Auxiliary and plug in the Roku -- but I think I will try to get some technical direction from NIRVC or Entegra.

The other problem is the cables all appear to be very tight/short, so I can't really move the box to see its back and how things are routed.

I'm open to any suggestions/corrections on my thinking.

Stan

Thanks Brobox.

My control center seems to be a wide cabinet above the fireplace on which the TV sits. I have the same equipment as shown in the picture posted by DarkSideJeep. Unfortunately, all of the slots appear to be utilized, so I have to sort out which one to unplug to make room for the Roku.

Yes, unfortunately, there's only three inches at the top and bottom, one inch on the top -- with lots of room on the right -- but ALL of the inputs on on the far right (facing) side of the TV.

Doesn't the TV have the ROKU app built in?

I have a 2025 Cornerstone 45b too...

On the back of my matrix box there is an empty HDMI port. If you don't have an empty one on yours you can disconnect the HDMI cable to your rooftop Dish or DirecTv if you are streaming only.

I'm having trouble with my audio visual components at this time, I'm going to try to work on it again tomorrow... My exterior TV works with my Samsung Plus channels but not with my Netflix, Apple TV or Amazon Prime streaming.

It runs for about 2 seconds then goes off and repeats this sequence forever (any suggestions for my issues would be appreciated).

There is no way to get to the HDMI connections on the back without disconnecting/removing the TV completely and putting an expensive mount that allows for extension, tilt & movement...

I did that on my 2016 Anthem and I'm not doing it again. This is something Entegra has known about for years and they refuse to correct the issue. I even told them I would pay extra for an adjustable mount and was told they wouldn't do it, I would have to do it after delivery...

Since the Matrix no longer has an AUX port, I think I would call Entegra and asked where they planned for AUX units to connect on the 25 year models. I believe my outdated 21 has an AUX port, I plugged a Fire Stick in while taking delivery.

Although Roku has an app, but it's just to access a limited collection of programs/shows that they offer. The Roku Ultra I'm referencing is a hardware streaming device (like Apple TV). I'm looking to YouTube, YouTube TV, Netflix, etc.

UPDATE:

My reasons for wanting to install my Roku Ultra streaming device are primarily the quality, feel, and function of the Roku Ultra remote (and our familiarity with it, since we have five of them at home). We also have Samsung Smart TVs at home, and we've found them to be less responsive (short, but annoying lags/delays when entering a function on the Samsung remote).

THAT SAID, I did try the built-in smart feature on the main Samsung Smart TV last night, and I was able to stream both YouTube and YouTube TV. I guess the newer Samsung smart TVs have improved processers, since there was no noticeable lag in its responsiveness.

I still want to figure out how to connect my Roku Ultra to the system, given our familiarity and satisfaction with their remotes. I'll report back, if/when I figure this one out.

Thanks for everyone's input....and always open to more ideas.

Stan

Thanks Brobox.

My Matrix does have an auxiliary port, but it seems to already have something installed in it -- at least as best as I can feel (there doesn't appear to be enough slack in the wires to allow me to gain access -- and I'm afraid of unplugging "stuff" by tugging on it too hard.)

Thanks again Brobox.

As noted in another comment, my AUX port (on the Matrix) appears to be in use already. I will have to look for other additional ports (not on the device itself). Unfortunately, the "cabinet" is wide and deep -- but not very tall (maybe ~6 inches), so it's difficult to see inside with out moving/removing equipment, and again, not a lot of slack in the cabling.
