2025 Cornerstone on Freightliner
I took delivery last week of a 2025 Cornerstone 44V on Freightliner chases.
I have not driven it other than the 70 mi. Trip home. With the snow and cold weather and Dr appointments I am stuck at home until end of February.
So me question is how many owners of 2025 cornerstone’s are on here?
Also what do you think about coach

We ordered our 2025 Cornerstone at the Hershey Show In PA in October. Originally we were going to do the V on a Freightliner chassis with a 1/2 bath delete, really liked the bigger windows. Sitting there talking to Entegra concerns rose that we could get it by the end of January with the bath delete on a Freightliner chassis. Ultimately it was decided by us to go with the 45Z on a Spartan chassis, probably not much difference but a lot of my trucks are on the F chassis’s. We went to Entegra this weekend for a walkthrough on Monday since our coach was supposed to be coming out of PDI and we could go over prior to it getting shipped to the dealer. Well as it turned out we were at the factory at 7:30 and the coach was not even back from paint. No big deal we toured the factory production line and the PDI line, which was very, very impressive. As it turned out our coach came back from paint about 9:00 am. So we got to look at what a naked coach looks like. It actually worked out great because they had all the wrong color hardware including shower, sink, and vanity fixtures. We are actually going back to the factory in about 3 weeks to do the walk through prior to shipment. Looks like we will pick up the end of February in Orlando. The dealer has to put a ceramic coating on it and then add Spartans version of run flats in the front. Then it comes back north to the farm until the end of March when we are heading to the FL keys and and then in through GA for about 3 weeks. It will be interesting to see the difference between the 2 chassis’s. I was a little concerned that the tags on the Freightliner didn’t snap back straight very quickly when I drove one, could have been a fluke. Keep posting as I will.

Could you please explain the “ 1/2 bath delete”?
If the half bath is deleted, what takes its place?

Intrigued by this as well. I wasn’t aware that was even a consideration. I thought you just needed to choose a floorplan that only had a single bath…

When talking to the Entegra people deletes are generally ok, adds become an issue because of piping, wiring, structural issues etc. When looking at these coaches they all are around 400 square feet so in our case we were paying around $1,655 per square foot. I found it hard to justify $25,000 for a half bath when floor space is a premium. We really liked the larger windows in the 45V. We really didn’t have an intention of buying one at the show, and it was kind of late for special orders to get it when we wanted it. As it is, I think our coach was the last 2025 Cornerstone produced and the 2026 do not start production to the beginning of April we were told. That would have put us to late August early September getting the coach. I understand the 1/2 bath provides access during traveling in most models. It turns out the 45Z provides access as well. We will see how it goes with this unit and maybe in 2 years we will go with a 45Z with bigger windows on a Freightliner chassis😀

For those considering the 1/2 bath delete, think about future resale.
I would think limiting your buyer's pool on an upper tier rig could spell trouble when you go to sell.

Agree - the 1/2 bath was mandatory for us.

Same. I couldn't imagine going back to a single bath with a family.
And for our layout, I couldn't imagine stopping and putting out the slide just to get to the rear bath. Nor could imagine retirees jumping the bed (without putting out the slide).

Well, the Z plan does not have a 1/2 bath and the only coach where a 1/2 bath delete would be workable would be the R floor plan. and honestly deleting the 1/2 bath on the R floor plan would be stupid.

I can't imagine opting for V floor plan with a half bath delete and having no access to a toilet with the slides in other than climbing over the bed. What could you possible gain that would make that space more useable than a half bath?
I'm still waiting to see someone compare the freightliner to their previous experience with a Spartan.

I have never seen a rear bath only Entegra full sized diesel coach.
Any single bath coach I have been in the bath is mid coach and can be accessed from the front of the coach with all slides in without crawling across the main bed.
I get the pros and cons of one bath vs a bath and a half. But a one rear bath only coach would be a no way for most owners.
Good luck with the new coach.

I second all the above, plus the fact is that the Z floorplan has no half bath, so how can it be deleted?

So what is in place of the deleted 1/2 bath? Is the bedroom area just bigger with open spacer? A huge pantry? Is the same room still there, just an empty room without the toilet or counter and sink effectively just making it a walk in closet? Would love to see some pictures of the space.
But I do agree with most, having to either crawl over the bed or run a slide out to access the bathroom would be a huge inconvenience.
