208Y/120 VAC Three Phase Shore Power Question

I'm looking to build a new storage/ hobby garage for my RV. I'm wondering if there is any reason that I cannot run my coach off two legs of a 208Y/120 three phase service to the building? Each leg would be 120 VAC Line to Neutral.

Does anyone now if the Entegra coach has any 240 VAC equipment on the coach? I would not want to burn it up.

Thx
Cory

Yes you can connect to 120/208 WYE or 120/240 DELTA three phase. It will work just fine because all of the appliances in the coach are 120 volts. So, the connection would be line to neutral (120 volts). In the DELTA configuration you would have on line to neutral at 208 though, avoid that one.

Be very careful not to hookup the wild leg of delta delta transformer it will be about 175 to 180 volts to neutral and this will burn up everything on that leg you Must check the voltage to neutral

Wonder why you want/need such a three phase power setup in your workshop?

Thanks for the feedback. I thought I'd be OK with a WYE transformer.

For those wondering why I need three phase power, some of my shop equipment is 3 phase 208V.
