Well, we've been in the rig full time since July of last year and randomly we'd run out of hot water. Then suddenly one shower and done. No hot water. Sometimes the first shower would go cold. We determined that the propane side of the aquahot stopped working. I called aquahot and went through some troubleshooting and finally the guy said to cover two of the burner fan holes with my fingers...and it lit! An air adjustment later and we have hot water for days! Still learning after a year in the rig... Thanks to AquaHot!

What did you do to adjust? Where are these hole located? Did the AH just quit running?

Thanks for the post and the solution. Will keep that on file if we have problems with the propane ignition on the AH.

I had to adjust the combustion fan intake. You have to take the AuqaHot cover off then it's easy. There are holes in the disk that can be rotated to make them smaller. The guy at aqua hot said just put two fingers over two of the holes and see if it works. It did! So I closed down the the holes a bit and it's been great ever since.

Last year while at Middlebury Ted Cook noticed our AH 375 made a howling or whistling noise while the propane burner was running. That also indicates the air intake needs adjustment. See the adjustment procedure attached for the 375LP.

The tech also pointed out that it shouldn't pop when lighting either.
