44 B floorplan
We are wondering those of you that have purchased the 44 B are you happy with your floorplan ? Our experience has always been it takes awhile of ownership to realize what works or is not working , what you might change/modify if possible etc.
Our current 09 Tiffin Bus QSP 40' is our 5th motorhome and our plan is the next one will be our last. believe that was the plan with our current one !
We would appreciate your thoughts/comments good, bad or ugly !
Thanks !

I don't have a 44B but it looks great to me with one important exception: no place for a recliner chair. Some others have commented that the 44B's dining table is too close to the refrigerator for some people to sit there.

WE currently have an Itasca 42 qd ( we have an Anthem 44b on order) The lack of a recliner gave us pause but the over all strength of the coach won out

We also have a 44B on order and liked the L shaped couch for 3 to watch TV from with a fourth in the co pilots seat. No sideways neck straining. Liked the big pantry as well.

44 B for us
Came down to a DEQ and the 44B ... if we had bought the DEQ the recliner was going to the garage anyway (not comfortable - not enough space - plenty of seating for the bride and me without it).
The 44B seems to have more space between the Ref and tabletop (I've set in both - didn't measure with a tape but maybe an 1.5 or 2"). More space in the basement. Bath and 1/2. We just thought it looked much nicer. To each his own.
A few more weeks and we will finally take delivery. Good luck with your decision.

Is there anywhere you could fit a recliner while the slides are in in the 44B? We would usually pull it out while sitting anyway. Is there any easy way to take the dinette table off and on in order to fit the recliner in?

Looks a lot like a DEQ with the slides in. :-)

757 driver. How much room do you have from the table to the wall? On our RBQ there is not enough room for an average size person to sit on that side of the table, and no way 4 adults could sit at the table. For those that have toured the factory, are all the designers 110 pounders or less? Just wondering.

Dave,
Don't have the coach yet but an average size person would fit on that side (with fridge behind). I would guess if ones waist size is greater that 46" to 48"then it would be a tight squeeze. The table looks fine for two perhaps three if the third was put at the end but not four people. There was talk from the Entegra rep at the Toronto RV Show that they are working with engineering to get the table to extend further.

DEQ and 42" waist and I fit just fine. Been watching this discussion of table distance from the wall in several threads. seems to me for larger, there is opposite side to the table
There was some discussion at the Owners Meeting at Tampa that there was a way to allow the table to extend further. Believe the owner was an Aspire. Not sure the method as I haven't looked underneath that much.

Dave,I believe that post was in the Entegra show us your mods post. It looked like it was very easy to do. I heard that Entegra was going to be doing that mod, but no conformation on that.
Nice to see that a lot (most) of the Mods that were posted here have been incorporated into the 2015 model changes. It does look like Entegra does monitor this forum and does listen.
