44B owners only ( :-) ) - Towels
My DW and I will be picking up our 2014 Anthem 44B in 2 weeks hopefully, and picked the floor plan for tons of reasons, but there is one drawback that neither of us can figure out and I thought you other owners may have a solution.
Where do you hang towels in the rear bathroom?? From our inspection, there is a small hand towel ring on each side of the vanity, but the only hooks for bath towels are one "hook" to the right side of the shower, on the outside. I have looked carefully, and find nowhere to mount one or two towel bars for hanging towels after a shower. I am tall enough to put them over the shower stall glass, but my DW cant do that.
I am wondering what creative solutions you guys or women have come up with for this issue?
Gary

I believe you have two hooks on either side of the toilet

That may be a place to put them (but they are not there on an October completed coach), but there is a window above the toilet and virtually no room unless they go over the window and valence. I will look at the possibility anyhow. Thanks

Gary,
We mounted another matching double hook below the one to the right of the shower about 4' off the ground. We use large plastic suction cup hooks inside the shower to hang wash cloths on.
Also we mounted two double hook matching hangers behind the drivers seat (one on each side of the valance) for coats.

I put up two hooks on the shower glass by the toilet. Works well.

Gary, I hope you don't mind a non 44B owner responding. Our factory installed towel hooks would not hold a wet towel, so we changed to these. Matched the fixtures perfect and fit the factroy holes perfect as well. Walmart had the best price, $9.00 vs $34. at Lowes. Hope it helps. We also have no room for a towel bar.

We installed towel bars on both sides of the sliding shower doors, actually they are curtain rods. Can't send a picture because motorhome is at Lazydays hopefully just until the end of this week.

Thanks for the ideas .... very helpful !! If there are other solutions out there, please keep them coming. Full size towel bars would be nice, but the space is used so efficiently that there really is no real-estate for those. So, your solutions are very helpful. I'll share mine when we make the final decision
Oh, and in my original post, we are getting a 2015 in a couple of weeks, not a 2014, but I think the situation is exactly the same.
Gary
