44B storage

Missing...... We went from a '14 DLQ to a '15 B, because of the layout, and they added slightly larger windows. Well, we should have known, you have to take space for the larger window from somewhere....... The storage boxes we had in the DLQ don't fit in the B! The interior cabinets are just a little smaller, and some of the cabinets have dividing walls in them, so you can't spread your stuff out behind the closed doors. Also the basement is an inch or so shorter. We had to get new storage boxes for the basement too. The basement door has a taller lip across the bottom opening, thus the sliding tray had to sit taller to clear the opening. You do have about an inch taller space under the tray for stuff, so it's not wasted space.

Oh well, we don't need all that stuff anyway! I want to report we found some very nice storage boxes, for the basement, at The Container Store. Heavy duty, waterproof (though you don't need that), and they just fit under the rails. They are pricey, at about $40 each, but they are heavy duty!

We love it though, no more trading! Lots of little improvements from the '14 to the '15. They do listen to our comments and continue to improve the product. I've got a list of mods to do, thanks to everyone on irv2.

Harold,
Since we are picking up our 44B soon - any model numbers/web links to storage boxes, etc would be appreciated - thanks...

We took ownership of our 44B now about 3 weeks ago and we are two weeks into our first real trip to extreme south Texas to try to find some close warm weather.

We also needed to abandon our prior storage bins ( 40# cat litter plastic containers ) which were too small and not tall enough. The Anthem storage area was much taller than my Dynasty. So we went to a super WalMart and found an amazing collection of plastic tubs. The ones we picked were $13 each. They fit nicely side by side and they had some room on top to store flat sorts of things that need to be in the basement and their cost was fine. The tops "lock" and fit down over the sides. They have been through a fairly heavy rain and two pretty heavy snow storms for brief stints outside while finding stuff buried further inside. I would recommend looking at the choice at WalMart. We were surprised of the choice on size/design
