45B main tv replacement
I am trying to install a new tv in my 45b(main 50”) . The current mount is a 400x400 vesa pattern. I posted the question earlier a vesa adapter was recommended, after searching there are many adapters to go from a 200x200 mount to a 400x400 tv but not a 200x200 tv to 400x400 mount. I am considering drilling new holes in the current mount to fit the tv. Has anyone done this upgrade? How did you do it?

We put a universal tilt and swivel mount on our 2016 Cornerstone 45B. Bolted right up and will adjust to fit any TV with the advantage of offering full tilt and swivel.

Yep, I think that you need to look for a universal mount. Almost everything out there is designed to fit virtually any TV within a size range. Now, many of those universal mounts with tilt and move are going to rattle and vibrate much more going down a bumpy road. The advantage of drilling your own pattern in the mount already there is that my TV males no noise as I travel.... a solid mount makes the TV solid, and no bouncing or banging, which is what you want for both the TV and for your sanity.
I'd drill away....

Thanks Chuck! I had forgot I posted the pictures. Gary, I put a strap around mine and no rattling going down even the rough roads plus the advantages of tilt and swivel.

Actually used the swivel feature a lot to be able to use the passenger and pilot chairs when parked and had them turned. To do that and get the best angle we needed to extend it some. After we took the L sofa out and put in the theater seating, only using the front chairs for company, still used the swivel a lot but the extend not as much, only for crowds when tailgating or company to watch a game.

45B main tv replacement
Took this picture at the homecoming based on this post
Oops, picture didn’t post.. shows how Entegra mounted using a offset pattern for 400 to 800 spacing. On edit, a further explanation... they used some flat bar, about 1/2 by 1/8”, to make a frame that would fit a 400 x 400 spacing to an 800 x 800 spacing. In this case, the 400 pattern was high, but you could adjust this to fit any height of the 400 x 400 pattern.

To add to my post above, you need the extend feature to fully use the swivel and that is really important to getadirect viewing angle to get the very best pictures on these new UHD televisions, really brings the pop out in the picture. All JMHO

That mount is definitely different than mine. Also where is Entegra sourcing these 50” Samsung tv’s with a 400x400 vesa patterns? All Samsung’s I see available under 65” are 200x200

You don't happen to have a picture of how the strap was attached.

I could not find a picture after the strap was attached. We just bought a black strap at Walmart and attached it to one of the bolts where the tilt and swivel bracket bolted onto the existing Entegra mounting bracket. Attached on the back side between brackets.
