I may have confused you by calling out the position by a clock.
I have attached a photo that should provide all the info you need to properly wire the signal wire. You want to focus on the number 2 pin in the 7 wire RV coach side and the number 1 pin on 6 way toad side.
This pic is from the Roadmaster 7 way RV plug to 6 way on the toad side,
