All comparisons are to our previous 14 Classic. We spent 4 nights at NIRVC and two days, 600 miles on the road
Everyone said I would like the fit, finish and handling of the 19 over the 14, they were right! The 19 drove like a brand new tight coach, not darting all over the road like a worn out truck. Felt great when we stopped for the night at 320 miles, I wasn't tired. I will not have to rebuild the front end on the 19 to get it to steer straight.
Love the digital dash, everything you could think of is at your finger tips...my favorite is how many gallons of fuel are remaining instead of guessing, only being able to take on 70 gallons in a 150 gallon tank. No reaching through the steering wheel to push 2 buttons that I never figured the order on, just turn a knob on the console until the screen you want comes up. No squinting to see the speed or RPM's, they dominate the dash.
With the new size 4048 water pump constant pressure through out the coach, and it's located in a quite area of the wet bay. I have not hooked to City water yet. All faucets, even the kitchen are prefect, no flow restrictors to remove. It will actually spray a dish clean.
The hot water is perfect, no anti scaled valves to remove to get hot water in the shower...it has hot water. So far no plumbing mods except the Studor vent in the 1/2 bath, it is already stinking and they changed it at NIRVC once. I'll buy a better valve today.
Vega Touch,.... no experience with the earlier one outside what the techs have told me comparing the old to the new. I didn't think the DW would care much for the VT, but after 3 days she loves it and is now getting into learning where everything is. I don't care for how long it takes for the app to come up on a new table just to turn on a light. My old tablet was going to be a one app VT tablet, but the app won't even work. Either the app is more powerful than the tablet, or the table is shot, but others apps work on it. I will format it and try again. The phone app while outside is great. For $15.00 the app will load on all your devices signed onto your account even days later.
The bed now raises up with one hand and
easy. Thank you for listening Entegra. The Sleep Number is lighter, which also helps.
New deep kitchen sinks and relocating the larger cabinet are great! Much like a real kitchen now instead of a "camper".
All of the plugs having USB ports in the center are great. We did not have those before and never had enough outlet with device chargers taking up all the outlets.
The color "Sunfire" turned out much nicer than what we saw on samples and we were more than
extremely pleased. Our rest stops took twice as long with the ooohs & aaahs and question than our Classic ever did.
We are still learning so if others can add to the list of new improved 19 features, please do. It might help many.
Outside of side turn signals,
a must with Adaptive Cruise Control, I have yet to see a bunch of Mods that need to be done. A few, but nothing that can't wait for cooler weather.
