I'm with Spuds - We use the wash/wax all products on my DiamondShield. Works well and doesn't take a lot of time at the end of the day to remove the bugs from the front end.

Your coach looks beautiful. Let me give this all some further thought.

I talked with Rock at Diamond Shield and this is a summary of all the notes I took. These are the issues in the order that came up in his recommendations.
1.) Don't recommend any heavy paste wax
2.) Use lite liquid wax applied to bugs (will soften). They recommend any polymer or synthetic liquid or synthetic spray. He specifically recommended McGuire's or Mother Brands
3.) They recommend regular waxing of Diamond Shield
4.) Novis2 is also good (a fine scratch and streak remover)
5.) Warm Vinegar and watery combination (not boiling). Apply with microfiber cloth.
6.) I brought up 303 and he didn't respond one way or the other.
I'm going to think through the options
Gary

Abrasive = a wet dryer sheet (I believe).
I use 303 as a protectant after the Diamond Shield is clear of bugs, but unless you get the splattered bugs each day, trying to get dried bug "remains" off the Diamond Shield is a chore. Anyone found something slightly abrasive to help with bug carcass removal on Diamond Shield?

I have diamoind shield and the dealer said dryer sheets for bugs. Buy this way: Take a spray bottle and add water and one unscented dryer sheet. Spray the bugs. Then use another wet dryer sheet to get the guts off. Rinse and rinse and rinse again.
I can do the same on the top of the windshield and coach by using an extension pole with a rectangular wash pad and dip it into a rectangular bucket with a dryer sheet in it. Then I rinse from the top down several times. No ladder needed unless you want to use one.
Never try in full sun, and it is easier in the am with heavy dew or just after a rain if it happens.

Hi Gary
Get some old panty hose or go buy some at the dollar store. Any color you want. 🤣🤣🤣
Wet the front of the coach and soak the panty hose. They will come off very easy with no scratching

Have talked with Diamond Shield rep at Perry FMCA rally. Asked him about using McGuires Ceramic Wax on diamond shield. He said "we have tested McGuires Ceramic Wax on the diamond shield and it is acceptable. I also called Diamond shield concerning bug removal. "Hot vinegar/water" combination should remove bugs
