I understand L2 is low voltage.

What can I do -- other than notify the CG manager or look for another campground?

Curt,

I've been pondering your issue since your first post of the problem.
Here are the facts that I've gotten:
1. One leg of your shore power is flirting with the 104 VAC cutoff for the Progressive unit.
2. You have seen a PE code of low voltage.
3. The breaker or breakers in your coach breaker box supplying the two running A/C units is tripping during these events.

I'm wondering if the VAC is dropping just below the 104 level just long enough to cause the EMS to interrupt power. The VAC almost immediately goes back up above the threshold and the current is restored. I think it might be possible that this happening fairly quickly may be causing the breakers to trip. The Progressive unit ships with a 15 sec delay set. If you remove a jumper then the delay becomes something like 136 sec delay. It's possible, if you remove your jumper and the longer delay is in effect, it might solve the problem.

The best part is, it doesn't cost anything and it's pretty easy to accomplish.

Here is the owners manual:

Inform the C/G manager you want your power fixed , another site with good power or your moving to another park , may get his attention and speed things up.
Did you inform, the customer service people that your problem appears to be with park power? Hate for them to make a trip for something that appears to be, not to do with the coach.

Curt,
You will find many CG power problems are for low voltage. I have solved this problem by purchasing a Hughs Autoformer it will boost your voltage by 10%. No I do not work for them. I have been able to run both A/C's micro and other items at the same time and my PI 50 amp did not cut my rig off for low voltage It may not help you immediately but may in the future. Good luck trying to get the CG to help.

It is mounted in the electrical bay along side the reel, so far so good.

Well I thought of doing that, but Hughes recommends a ventilated compartment, so it gave me pause. I am sure that baby gets pretty hot in use.

Two weeks ago both owner's and their engineer came down to look at my installation and said it was ok their unit doesn't get that hot and I have check it during the day. Right now temps are reaching 100' in Southern California and it is boosting and only gets warm to the touch. You may want to call them to confirm.

Curt, I would ask them to move to another site. Running two a/c units should not be a problem. Actually, running all three shouldn't be a problem. I run all three and everything else in the mh and have never had a problem. My money is on the power to the pedestal. Breaker, bad or loose wire etc. Noel

Thanks for all the suggestions. This forum is a great place to solution the problems of everyday coach life.

The CG manger came out with her crew and replaced breakers, but no improvement.

They checked the other sites that are on the same main circuit as my site and found that all 6 sites have low voltage on L-2.

They called their master electrician and he will be here tomorrow morning to make trouble shoot and necessary repairs to the CG electrical infrastructure.

Will hopefully close out this post tomorrow.

Thanks for the note Sal.

Do you have a photo of where your autoformer is installed?

Great update Curt. It is my opinion that 90% of MH electrical problems are caused by CG power input. It is great that you installed the EMS that protected your A/C's
