Thankfully I was able to adapt to the ACC and enjoy it. For me it was easy to see if a vehicle in front of me is moving slower and change lanes. If traffic is slowing down, let ACC do the work and enjoy the ride.

I assume your Cornerstone isn’t doing this ?

Thankfully we don’t have vibrating seats. I assume you could cut the power to the seat. If the buzzer is a problem, in the Entegra glass dash, there are 2 tiny speakers that you can add a dual potentiometer and control the sound. That is what I did.

That’s what I am thinking... however their windows don’t open anymore...we love our fresh air. If I bought a newmar I would have to cut a hole in the roof to get some breeze..

You must be sensitive to very little movement of air. If we opened every "openable" window in this Cornerstone and found ourselves in an Category 5 Hurricane, I doubt there would be a significant breeze detected here in this coach. Maybe if you had the door open too and the wind was from that direction........
We gave up getting "cooling breezes" from the windows and have succumbed to the roof AC units.

Not really. Just don’t understand fixed windows in a coach. I build high end luxury homes. Clients like the open feel, huge windows, opening glass patio walls. The coach industry is going the wrong way in an effort to make things quieter.

Meh, I would love non operable windows. At lease they would be more airtight than these frameless windows. If I wanted air with non operable windows I would open the door and turn on the exhaust fans. That creates a nice breeze

How about windows that open then are silent when closed. Let’s face it, windows are not new technology. I think the ones as i described are cost prohibitive however I would pay for them.

100% agree. I have considered engineering my own for this coach. A framed awning would be ideal.

Bruce - Thanks for answering.
Thankful I have not had any faults or issues with these systems. I am not even sure I have ATC.

I actually had to look the acronyms up as well.
My question: When was ACC & CMS introduced ?

2017 at least on Cornerstone. They have made some changes since, but that’s when it was introduced.

Not easily avoided on Cornerstone in 17 and 18 (but figured out by truckers and eventually discovered by NowaBeachBum (Gary)(through a fairly laborious process), and then ACC could be turned off easily in 19 and I assume every year since. It has to be turned off each time you fire up the Cummins but at least you can make it go away. It is not a good feature if you drive interstates since it slaves your coach to a vehicle so far in front of you that you haven't even processed that that vehicle is relevant to your life yet. If you prefer 2 lane highways, then maybe some people like it.
CMS cannot be made to go away.
There are people, for a price, that can make both go away (for the REAL HATERS), if the right legal documents are signed.
I'm a "hater" myself but can live with CMS, but simply cannot tolerate ACC. But at least it s your choice.
Gary
