Accessory fuse panel dead

I noticed my steps were not retracting yesterday and started a thread. After a little more investigation I realized the entire fuse panel is dead. None of my accessories are working. I tried a reboot of the salesman switch, no love. House and chassis batteries are fully charged, reading 13.8v.

Any ideas??

Head scratcher.......what was the last thing you did on the coach involving electrical? Is power at the inverters?

The only "electrical" I have done is disconnecting and reconnecting the fuel filter when I replaced it. Both inverters show power, float and 13.8 volts

Where is this fuse panel located? Is there power coming to the fuse panel?

Are you sure the accessory fuze panel is powered by the inverter and not the chassis batteries?

You are probably going to need both chassis and coach electrical schematics to help in trouble shooting. Contact Entegra and Spartan (assuming it's a Spartan chassis).

I'd start at the fuse panel and work back. First, identify the power wire into the fuse panel and see if it is hot. If it's not, trace the wire back to the next available access point and see if it is hot. Repeat until you find the open.

Bruce,

Might the fuse panel that is out be the ignition B+ panel located below the drivers seat outside? If so it may be the silver solenoid to the right of the fuse panel that is failing and not allowing 12v power to the panel. This solenoid is a common failure.

Sometimes if you give the solenoid a controlled tap you can get it working again for a short while.

In the compartment outside, below the drivers seat. I'll pull the panel and check, but there is no power to any of the fuses.

I will have a look and see.

Thanks everyone

Go to bay 4 on passenger side and go into the carpeted panel. You need to check all the circuit breakers outside the panel and in the inside. Also check your solenoids. Something there could have tripped.

That is the problem. The breaker is tripping and trips when I reset it. Now I have something to go on

Thanks

Solenoid B.
This will kill your ignition amongst other things.
Give that a light whack.

Which braker is tripping. You mentioned electric when you changed the fuel filter. All I ever had were fuel lines at the filter. Was there something there that could have shorted to ground working on the generator? Usually a situation like that is one of the last things worked on if everything was working before.

Fixed! The gen/fuse bay breaker in bay four was tripped. It tripped because the main power cord to the genny was pinched slightly. Operator error as me, myself and I neglected to re-secure it to the genny housing after servicing it. I closed the bay and walked away..

It was a duh moment!

Thanks everyone
