I just put a small folded piece of cardboard under my switch and it holds it in the right position - our dogs have never turned it off with it and they do stand on it sometimes looking outside. Just an fyi ....

Yep cardboard is definitely cheaper! Been doing something like that for a while too, but kitty thinks whatever object is under the switch is a toy and needs to be removed.

Hey Chuck, yeah weird, I have been inserting the photos the same way all along.

I just did a post on the test forum and I can see the photo with other browsers. Can you see the photo on this post? http://www.irv2.com/forums/f63/photo...ml#post4153576

Maybe I just had too many photos in my opening post?

These ideas are far better than the dog bed technique we use. When we arrive at a park and going in for the check-in it is amazing how many switches fall prey to the feet of 2 hyper dogs. Before I’m out of the seat, I reach over, graph one of the dog beds and stuff it between the window and seat. I think both remedies; switch and box are in our short term future.

At night, I would simply place the 5 sided box over the controls and in the morning the box would be moved to the floor beside my seat and right under the control "arm". Never had a problem after that. Fairly cheap fix to get done also.

That's pretty much what I did except I bought some clear plexiglass and some plexiglass adhesive, cut the material on my table saw and made up mine own. It's clear so I can see through it and it covers all of the console switches. I've had a broken switch once from dog paws and the cat turns on lights and things every now and then when he walks over it. With this cover all my switches are protected. When driving it lays right on the floor in the same location as yours.

Yes, I guess my post was not clear... my 5 sided box is rectangular and covers all the switches on the driver side panel on my 15 Anthem.... everything (all the switches) is protected by the box that is dimensioned so it sits squarely/flat on the flat switch panel and encompasses all the switches. Won't work on the '19.Darn, but will look at it carefully when I get it to see if the old idea can be adapted to the new contour panel.

No, I understood what you were saying. That's exactly what I did as well. It's just that my plexiglass was clear instead of opaque.

I'm pretty sure that the contour on the 2019s should still be workable. You may have to do some fancy cutting on the lower edge of the box to match the contour but the idea of protecting all of the switches is a good one.

Here is what I did. Same sort of idea with a plastic storage tray from Walmart and then covered with vinyl shelf liner.

Here are a couple photos of the power indicator light added to the installation.
