Additional features of the 21 & 22 ShowerMi$er

Thanks to a comment made by SillyAnn in the Cornerstone improvement post, he made a comment on a feature I was not aware of with the showermiser. That was filling the water tank from inside the coach. Along with that I saw a few other nice feature I thought I would pass on if others were not aware of them as I was. https://aquaviewinc.com/rv/
I really do like the ShowerMi$er feature especially with dry over night stops.

Thanks for sharing. I learned something.

I was aware the shower miser saved gray tank water and therefore saved fresh water.

Being able to fill your fresh water holding tank from inside the coach is an option I was not aware of. Good to have the option.

Thanks

Don't forget to turn off the shower miser (point the valve handle up) or else everytime you turn on the cold water you'll continue to fill your water tank. Don't ask how I know this. NIRVC Las Vegas told me it backfills the water tank through the AquaHot system.

I also learned a few things about the ShowerMi$er and thought posting the video and diagrams might benefit others. I know not much information about it came with my 21 other than 'here it is".

Your post and the video explain the process much better than I could and was helpful. I did read a not so clear reference to the freshwater tank fill in one of the owners manuals, but completely missed it on my first reading.

Presumably you would turn on the cold water handle rather than the hot water if your goal was to fill the fresh water tank.

We have a single handle that mixes both hot and cold water. That was enough to overfill the fresh water tank. My thought was to use the shower miser to shut the water off and leave the temp handle in place so as not to have to set it for the next shower. Wrong!!! Of course we were on city water so the pump was not cycling.
