Adjusting screen door

Our screen door consistently hits the door striker latch, causing it to wear in that area. The only way I can see to adjust this is by attempting to bend the hinges. But before I try that, maybe someone here has a better way to make the adjustment?

Appreciate any help.

Are there any shims behind the striker bolt , that could be removed ?

From the mark on the striker from the latch , it looks like you could remove about 1/8" of shim if there are any .

A side note on the striker. I always grind the sharp points off with a Dremel or a file. I haven't done it on the 21 yet. Sure enough put a big gash in my hand the other day coming out of the coach. The Dremel in is the truck ready to take care of that problem, as soon as my hand heals I still have the scar on my arm from the 14.
