I can't tell where that tape is from, but it looks like it could be the Eternabond tape that is used to seal the top of the slideout room. If that came loose it could be your problem. Inspect the top edges of your slideout room and compare what you see to your paasenger side (DS) slideout room.

You might try barely leaving the slide out about 1/2 inch from fully seated for travel and taking a test drive to further track down the noise.

Similar to what John suggested in his post quoted above…
Our 2018 Cornerstone had an issue similar to what you described, but on the passenger side living room slide, with noise coming from right behind the passenger seat. Not highly bothersome and it didn’t occur all the time. When it did I found we could stop it by giving the extend/retract switch a quick press & release – the idea being to bump the slide out ever so slightly. Hardly enough to move the slide room; just enough to lessen the pressure of the slide room against the sealing surface. Might not solve your problem, but it’s quick & easy to try.
Regarding the endlessly confusing DS & ODS terminology, another explanation I’ve heard is that a few RV manufacturers sell their products in more than one country, necessitating some vehicles with the steering wheel on the right side of the vehicle. So in those cases the “Driver Side” and “Passenger Side” are not the same as they are for us here in the U.S.
Chuck makes a good point regarding Port and Starboard. So far as I know, that terminology is accepted worldwide among boat owners and manufacturers.

If you do isolate the squeak, and it is the drivers valance. Being wood on wood, I found the adhesive backed felt pads for lamp bases work well.

In places where the felt pads are too thick I've used corn pads as they are much thinner and also self adhesive for placement.

Believe it or not, I carefully sprayed silicone along the length of the panel, and the squeak never returned.

With the slide extended, check to see if you’ve lost a bump stop (my term for them anyway) or two. I found that by replacing them, it fixed my passenger slide squeak above the passenger seat.
Cheers

Check the back side of your slide where that wallpaper was probably attached. We recently started having an issue with the ODS slide hesitating when we started to retract it. Then there would be a loud crack and the slide would suddenly start moving with a jerk and close smoothly the rest of the way. We finally figured out why when we arrived here. Before extending the slide we climbed up and got a light on the top side of the slide. We found a rolled up strip of wallpaper that used to be attached to the backside edge of the slide - the part that rests against the wall with the slide extended. The forward half of the slide has a piece of what appears to be rigid plastic or metal covering that area. The back half had only a strip of wallpaper. The paper came off and rolled up, the adhesive remained on the wall and was, literally, glueing the slide to the side of the coach when it was extended. The hesitation was the slide motor building up tension until it broke that seal. For now I covered the exposed adhesive with a couple of strips of Gaffer Tape. Emailed CS but haven’t heard anything back yet. Sure would like to know if that nice rigid covering was supposed to be the full length of the slide.
Your squeak is probably the wood trim but check the top of your slide and make sure you don’t have another problem where that wallpaper had been. The only visual difference was that the rigid covering appeared to be missing. It wasn’t until I climbed up and felt the area that I realized how sticky it was…and what was (probably) happening with the slide. Having small hands helps, Rick’s hands were too big to work up there. That’s the last slide motor I want to have overloaded and I’m just praying we aren’t going to have issues from the extra strain on the motor and that our “diagnosis and fix” works.

Try the edge of the slide topper box where it touches the side of the coach (obviously when the slide is in). We put a piece of moleskin at that interface which stopped the squeak.

Got a chance to look at it more with your guys' suggestions in mind. It appears that the U channel of the rubber that it sits on top of the "wall piece" it had pulled out from. As I put it back on, it squeeked like it does while driving.
My question about it is...further down the rubber is more tightly held away from the slide. Are our rubber seals glued/adhesive on or do they just sit on that wall piece held on by the U channel?
Very not-technical terms, apologies in advance.
