After further review….

……Michigan Interstate roads are still less than ideal.
It’s been a year since some one commented on their condition.
If you are heading to Spartan, best to take most any M-highway roads. Trucker friendly and for the most part, and very good to excellent. I-69 or I-96 you find what rattles or loose quickly.

And they're playing "round robin" totally closing off-ramps for renovation one at a time for the main junction near Spartan at I-69 and M-50. Google maps can't keep up.

I was just on I-69 around Lansing and south last week. One of the worse section of roads I have ever been on.

They have patched the concrete seams across the road with about 3 foot stips of asphalt the width of the lane which got pounded down by trucks so now you have multiple bumps to contend with at the seams. I-69 should be condemned! I felt I was driving in a third world country!

FWIW - I-35 north of OKC falls in the same category. Beat the snot out of our coach…the jarring unlocked both the fridge and freezer. Fortunately we keep the fridge doors strapped as a backup. Have never needed it before but it sure saved us this time. Sure felt like it lasted about 100 miles before we hit decent roads again.
