Pat,

There appears to be two options for setting the AGS but only one works, the Onan EC-30. The Magnum remote panel has the ability to do the same thing but other hardware is needed to accomplish this. Why Entegra elected to add another system when it could have been accomplished with the Magnum remote is an unknown.

If you are looking for some guidance on suggested settings for the AGS here they are.

EC-30 Settings

Setup Auto

Safe Type= Ignition
Start@ V=12.0
Time@Start V=30 sec.
Stop@ V= Auto
Time@ Stop V=5min.

757Driver my Safe Sense is set to Brake (Park)? But it is definitely wired to ignition. That is what I have to cycle to allow for Auto Gen setting to take. Can I reconfigured to Ignition?

Some Entegra’s for a short period of time were wired to the Park Brake (I don’t know what they were thinking ). If yours is definitely wired to the ignition then yes, change the setting to say Safe Type= Ignition.

I hate the word definitely on a coach I have had for a week :-). I can tell you that cycling the ignition will reset the safety sense and allow the Gen to be placed into auto mode.

Pat,

Nice area, my in-laws live in Lothian and I taught at USNA for a few years. I used Dylan's in Sewell, NJ for some recent warranty service and I have to say that I will not be going back there. Please let me know if you find a decent service center.

Ted

Perfect, then it is wired through the ignition. The most you will have to do that check is once every 30 days if the coach has not moved.
