Any of the 150 PSI pancake compressor will work. The compressor I use at the storage hanger is the 150 pancake at Harbor Freight always on sale for $99.
https://www.harborfreight.com/6-gal-...sor-62511.html

However many of us have gone to the air doublers for on the road use.

I found one on Ebay, like new for $20. on the auction. It took a few weeks, but I was in no hurry The ease of use and space is really worth it. Photos of installation http://www.irv2.com/forums/f278/airi...ml#post4034132

A good many of us own one of the models made by Viair. These are 12 volt small compressors that operate up to ~ 150 psi. They are small, come in a satchel, and run off of available 12 volt DC either from the toad or the coach. The difference between models is the duty cycle. The more expensive models are continuous running, and the less expensive models are maybe 20 min duty cycle.

These take up a LOT less room in the basement than a pancake that Chuck recommended. The pancake is less expensive, but most of them are extremely noisey running.... (you won't run one in the early morning hours or you will wake up all your neighbors).

We like the Viair very much. It even airs up on 365 front Michelins. Highly recommend. Look on Amazon.

I installed the air doubler, its small and doesn't take up cargo space.

X2 on this. We have had one for a few years and it works great.

I got the 450 Viair since I have 4-365/70 and 4-315/80 tires. Need the longer duty cycle.

Another vote for the air doubler here.

The red hose (3ft whip with quick connect on end) is the input. It connects to the air quick connect already on the coach. I opted to continue using quick connects so that if I need to I can disconnect it from the coach and use my air from the shop compressor eliminating the need to start the bus and build air just to air up tires when at home in the shop.

The lime green hose connects to a enclosed hose reel with 50' of 300psi rated hose. The hose reel is mounted between the slide out tray and the basement freezer. I can reach all tires on the coach and toad.

ViAir 450rv works great and portability for other applications is a plus!

On the smaller units it comes down if you want to unpack it, hook it up, then pack it up to put it away taking storage room. Or do a one time wall mount, then just plug in an air hose after starting the engine. Price will be about the same unless you get lucky like I did. One plus for the air doubler, it is fast using 280 PSI of air to fill a tire.

That is a plus. I have an inflatable boat that I could take the Viair with me to use for the boat

One word the air double uses air that goes through the air dryer . The compressors do not start with dry air. moisture is bad inside your tires .
