That's a much nicer looking filter.... that one looks like the chances that some paper is going to come off is much reduced. Bet a couple lawsuits led to some modification of production and design.

Thanks for the image. I'm going to have mine changes soon.... roughly 2 years and I will report with I find also.

We also put a k&n filter on our anthem and love it. So easy to clean. Pull out wash off with water, let dry put back in and do the same next year.

Bought mine a couple years ago from Amazon for around $250 delivered

I have already paid for the filter by re-using it and it’s goog for years to come. Oh yes, I am in no way associated with K&N.
A few questions if I may. How often does it need cleaning? What tape do you use? Do you have a K&N part number?

I have only cleaned mine once because I only put about 5000 miles a year on my coach. The tape that I used came with the filter, but it is just good duct tape and it covers the joints on the filter canister so that there are no leaks. I don’t remember the model # but it should be easy to look up.

I looked up the model # and it is K&N 38-2001R. Lots of places to buy it on the internet. Looks like they are available for less than $300.
