Air horns

On the anthem are the air horns on the roof or beside the generator?

The Anthem horns are now inside. That's actually better because they are a PITA to keep clean. I don't remember if that was as of mid 13 year model or beginning 13 but all 14s and later are not roof mounted.

Yep, it is one exception to Entegra quality. They backed up and put a cheap, sick sounding air horn on. Likely some bean counter saving a few bucks on something he had no idea about what he was doing. BIG mistake!!!!! They are pitiful and definitely do not belong on a coach of Entegra's quality , they cheapen the whole coach a little. Still the best choice on the market but an item that needs improvement. All JMHO

Glad this came up, I thought one of mine was not working, our 13 Aspire had great sound. With all the great attention to detail on accessories wonder how the sick horns got ito the mix.

Not sure I'm following this thread about the air horns? On my 2013 Anthem the air horn sounds just fine. Did Entegra start using different horns?

Steve, I thought mine were fine too. I guess my perspective is, those cases thus far when I needed to use the horns, it was too late to get the other guy to modify his behavior, so use of the hot was more an attempt to scare that behavior or action modification.

I'm not sure when they changed the air horns, but they are definitely not chrome. Actually, I think they are plastic. Noel

Ours don't work, just the anemic little horn. It's a furture fix along with the docking lights and other things like that. Our first goal was make sure the engine, tranny, all the drive stuff, and the roof was good before we start fixing the extras and "prettys".

When you say they don't work, is that after you turn on the air horn switch located on the drivers side panel?
