Did you figure out your differential air pressures in the coach yet? If so, what have you determined?

Gary,
After several extended conversations with Michael and Shane at Spartan I have determined the differential pressure while running is normal. Rear may run a little lower than front. Both decrease when I pump the brakes and recover equally.
During one of the conversations I mentioned the pressures drop 20-30psi during fuel or lunch stops. Shane said the standard is 1.4psi in 20 minutes or 50psi in 12 hours. I will take it to a Spartan service center next week to look for leaks one more time.

Thanks for the follow up. I can certainly say that my K2 never showed that differential pressure as a static difference. Hope you get a handle on it. Maybe it is just a dash gauge problem....

Vance,
Did you perform the Spartan Chassis air tank check to see if your gauges are working properly. Here it is if you need it. https://www.entegracoachforum.com/in...Your_Air_Tanks

Good info Don,
These test also determine if the gauges are plumbed correctly.
Further for the air brake system to pass the DOT test there can only be a 3 PSI drop in air pressure a minute when the system is air up, park brake released and steady pressure applied to the brake pedal.
Richard

Too bad the photo in the Spartan procedure shows all three color-coded lanyards to be coated with black rust stop! The factory should have a step to bag them before going into spray booth.
