Yes, you do have to get warranty approval from them first. The will question you about the air loss, how much in what time period.

just the opposite. There is a 6 minute delay if you want to deploy the jacks and have the air dump automatically.
If you wait 6 minutes the air will dump when using the jacks.

If you drop the jacks without waiting 6 minute the jack will level without dumping the air. Step high off the ground.

Or let jack go partially down, retract, auto level again then the air will dump.

Air suspension losing air while standing

When we had our 2018 Anthem we received a TSB for the Hadley Air System. Something to do with the air manifold system (O-rings I think). I would check with Spartan to see if your coach was part of TSB.

Why is there a 6 minute delay?

Good question! We speculated that many were not putting the slides out in the proper order, so they tried to make it idiot proof. Just speculation.

I’m trying to understand this so tell me if I’ve got it right...you hit auto level, jacks drop and level coach then six minutes later the air dumps? Is that accurate?

I know when using auto level now, I was told (and have followed) that no one should be moving in the coach during the process - including pets. That even the smallest amount of movement could impact the level when complete. So everyone sits down and stays there until the coach finishes the process. It’s worked very well - 99 out of 100 times, I’ll have a level coach when the process completes. But now I’m wondering if I have to try to keep the dogs in place for the six minutes. Or is there no adjustment once the air drops?

Maybe this is something else they’ll fix in the 22’s. Sigh. I really wanted to get an Anthem but this is becoming reason #3 I’m waiting. Toilets without enough water to flush, puck lights without a separate switch, now air that doesn’t dump. Rick gets good stuff...I’m not feeling the love.

Or is there no adjustment once the air drops? That's the same, no movement. I am use to doing the double air dump to get the steps lower to the ground, so the extra step doesn't bother me, I've always done it.

Maybe this is something else they’ll fix in the 22’s. Sigh. I really wanted to get an Anthem but this is becoming reason #3 I’m waiting. Toilets without enough water to flush, that's a simple re programming, takes less than a minute puck lights without a separate switch, now air that doesn’t dump. Rick gets good stuff...I’m not feeling the love.
The air dump is no big deal, just stop 1/2 way down and start the level process again if you want the air to dump. Those that do not want the air to dump don't do a thing. I used the air level only coming home and it was great. Only time using the jacks was for storage. I also spent a week at NIRVC and didn't use the jacks except to be shown the delay. It's not a big deal and I'll bet most won't even know unless someone tells them. If a person uses air level first, it will dump the air and put the steps lower to the ground.

Our 2020 has a three minute wait before dumping air when leveling, which seems like a more reasonable time to me.

I haven't timed it, you might be correct. It was what was told to me by Justin at NIRVC on my delivery. Not something I was concerned with when I saw the override was how I normally used the jacks.

The auxiliary air compressor for the Hadley wasn’t introduced until the 2019 model year. The OP has a 2018 and RVFunlovers is a 2017 model year.

We have never experienced the delay. We usually take everything out of the basement that we are going to need to set up. That usually takes 10-15 mins. Hook things up (power, water and sewer) out come the slides and usually the last thing we do is level. I’m not sure how the delay (3-6 min) is an issue. Unless I have misunderstood the delay explanation. Please enlighten me.

What you are doing is I believe what Entegra is wanting others to do. Again, speculation, some were dropping the jacks as soon as they shut the engine off causing problems with the slides not being at ride height. At least if they put the jacks out first now, the coach will not dump the air and will be closer to ride height as it still has air in the system. That is the only reason myself and another tech at NIRVC could come up with for the delay.
