Alignment after new front shocks?

I'm getting new front Konis on my solid axle '15 Aspire. Should I have the steering aligned after getting the shocks installed?

Alignment shouldn't be necessary, for just a shock change ; unless you have noticed tire wear or had a handling issue that maybe alignment related.

How many miles on the coach, has the front end ever been aligned? My last two new coach the rear axles have been 1/2 out of alignment. If we have traveled rough highways, I normally have an alignment check every 2 years.

May vary by axle brand but most solid axles can only have toe-in adjusted....camber is set by manufacturer unless axle is physically bent....caster is adjusted by wedges--kind of a mystery to me how that is done...thrust angle on rear axle is another consideration -- some axles are adjustable while other are not....but agree, new shocks don't require alignment.

Correct, shocks will not change alignment.

As to whether you need an alignment, THAT is a different question, but not related to shocks.
