All 4 slides will not extend

Just got back to Vancouver, WA for holidays. Put Anthem in storage lot on Friday. Turned off main power and 12 volt. Took our son tonight over to see the coach. Turned on main power and 12 volt to put slides out but no go. Started the engine and turned on inverters but the slides still wouldn't extend. Any ideas as to what we are doing wrong. Thank You

Slides are designed NOT to go out with the engine running or ignition on.

Sounds like low batteries. Did you happen to check the battery voltage? Might try running the generator.

I don't think the slides will extend with the ignition on. Something about preventing slide deployment at 6o mph. Try deployment with the 12v on and ignition key removed.

They'll come out with the ignition key in but not on. If your battery is low, turn on the generator. Then put them out. If the generator won't start, start the coach, then start the generator. If the coach won't start (dead chassis batteries) you can jump the chassis with cables and a car or p/u (done it).

I know. I suggested pulling the key to ensure that it was not inadvertantly in the on position. For the sake of troubleshooting.

If I am reading the first part of your post correctly you had not started the engine yet when you tried to put the slides out. If that is correct, check the battery voltage in the PS upper cabinet.

We were told to run the engine when extending or retracting the slides.
Have been doing this since we picked up the new coach.

On our 2012 Tour, the parking brake must be on and recommend engine running.

Power Gear draws directly from the engine batteries, which gets the alternator power first. Coach batteries(8) get power when engine batteries are charged.

Don't know about Entegra slide operation?

I just went through a whole laundry list of checks when mine didn't work last fall. In the process, I learned where most everything in the coach is

In my case, it turned out to be a blown 5 amp fuse to the relay.

X2. My slides will retract but not extend with the engine running, was told that is by design. Also, my cockpit night shades won't move, up or down, with the engine running. I forget that once in a while and get upset that my shades won't go up!

Slides extending

Thank you all for your help with the slide issue. They operate just fine when the engine is off. Thank goodness for this forum and all with great knowledge. Also for answering so quickly and not making us feel like we are asking a dumb question.
Merry Christmas and Happy safe New Year
