All 5 buttons on TriMark. Handle lock and blinking
I don’t think I hav3 seen this discussed before. When I locked my coach with the keypad in the grab h@ndke, I got a strange beep and now all top five of the illuminated keypad are blinking and now nothing entered into the keypad works. Solution and or cause?

I have not experienced the blinking buttons. However weird sounds and then module failure twice. While at PDI it was replaced and the tech thought it was from water damage. Then recently I noticed water collecting at the dash ac vents. I opened the faux wood tray and saw the ac ducts were covered with condensation and dripping on the Trimark module. I moved the module out of the way and sent photos to CS. We have not resolved a solution yet.

New to me but I'd try a power reset if you can get in the coach

I’ve never seen this behavior, but I simply got tired of watching it flash and left it an hour. An hour later, the lights (push buttons) had gone dark but as soon as I pressed the first number of my code, they started flashing again. So for no particular reason, I just kept entering my code and about three entries later, it stopped blinking and beeping, and it finally unlocked. Strange.

We've had our Trimark go wacko like that several times. I assumed for us it's ESD (static discharge) related. In dry weather that handle is getting zapped constantly. In some cases it fixes itself, but if not I pull the power plug on the Trimark unit (under the cover right side of dash), let it set for a minute and plug it back in. So far that reset has always worked to clear things up.
I don't think cycling the coach power switch near the door will reset the Trimark, it needs to be powered at all times and I think it's power comes from the chassis batteries.
Unlike our firefly switches (8 failures so far this year) at least the Trimark isn't irreparably damaged from ESD.

Thanks Rob..... I will remember that. My Trimarks’s psychotic episode was brief, but it was dramatic because I realized that we use the Trimark locking process as our default locking process (not the key lock) and if it failed to reset, we’d be in a real pickle. Hmmmmmmmmmm. .....

Gary, I do the same thing, keys for the MH are left in the ignition. However the spare set of keys for the MH are in the toad, and the spare keys for the toad are in the MH.
For me, if it's computerized, or electronic, sooner or later it is going to glitch. That happened on the toad once already, glad the spare keys were in the MH.

ESD.

So I know that my keyless is powered by AA batteries that are located on the inside behind the door latch handle.
I too have the lights flashing, I assumed the batteries needed replacing... although I have yet to do that...
I'll try and do this soon and report back

Gary/Chuck,
Will your basement doors lock with the key in the ignition? Mine willl not, I need to pull the key out.

They lock fine with the keys in the ignition. I leave the keys in the ignition even while in storage in case the MH has to be move due to a fire. The caretaker has the door combo.

Well, I went and tried it just now and they lock and unlock with the key in the ignition, go figure. Must have been finger trouble in the past. Thanks.

Mine lock and unlock with the key in the ignition but not with the engine running. Was preparing to leave and idling and needed to get in a storage bay. Neither fob or door handle code would open it. Had to shut engine off to access. Safety feature I guess.
