It's a smart system and works well. House and chassis batteries will charge from alternator and chassis and house batteries will charge from shore power or genset. Interconnect cycle is triggered by voltages but time limits are also imposed.

Thank you Rob. With all of this information I believe I can now fully diagnoses my system. I already know that the alternator is putting out. Thanks all for your input.
