I'm in Stu. Does Woodford Double Oaked work for you?

Hi Larry,

That's a good start. I usually carry a few that are worthy of sharing. Maybe you'd like Jefferson's Ocean? Or, an acquaintance shared her favorite, Oregon Spirit Wheat Whiskey (yeah, I know - not bourbon), that drinks well. And then, there's Buffalo Trace and some of the Heaven Hill Distillery's offerings and...

Once you start down that bourbon trail, it's hard to know exactly where you'll end up.

Take care,
Stu

No kidding Stu!

We've done tours of the Buffalo Trace, Maker's Mark, and Woodford distilleries. All of them were fun and informative.

The Woodford tour was especially unique in that at the end of the tour the guide took us into one of the big warehouses where they rack all the barrels of aging bourbon. The aroma alone was to die for, but they had small tables & chairs set up with candles burning and glasses of bourbon on each table. Once we were all seated, the guide conducted a short tutorial on the PROPER way to sample bourbon. And we got several opportunities to practice what we'd learned. It was a great experience.

Less than 1 month after buying a new-to-us Newmar Essex I failed to see a yield sign when making a left turn in a tight RV park and thus gained a 10 foot long gouge down the side.
My wife cheered me up with one word, FISHDO. Cleaned up it means “Forget It. Stuff Happens. Drive On.” That one phrase instantly changed my mood from dark and mad at myself to being able to laugh and take the bumps in the road in stride. Wasn’t the last time either.
She also observed, “Well a paint job costs the same no matter how many scratches so they’re all free from here on out.” That’s why I love her.

FISHDO is now a permanent part of my Lexicon. While I need it frequently even without our beloved MH, DW will be quickly tired of hearing it in the kitchen......

FISHDO will join ITYS (I told you so...) in our list of frequently used abbreviations. Or at least in my list - Rick is much nicer.
