Anthem 44 Floor Plan issues
I've toured the factory twice now. Wonderful people, very knowledgeable. I Have an Anthem on order, but really don't like ANY of the floor plans. Pay that much money and have to deal with a design "flaw?" (My opinion). Doesn't Entegra test designs before they build a new floor plan?
DLQ - The 2015 DLQ has no medicine cabinets in the bathroom, only under the counter drawers. The toilet room has no secondary source of water such as a sink or even the toilet sprayer, and only one small cabinet. Wife NOT happy! Then to add to my dilemma I can't slither into the bed room with the slides closed.
SL - So we decided the SL would meet our needs, even changed the order. Then we went back to the factory. It is extremely awkward to get into the refrigerator because of the cramped hall space. My wife examined it and said, "how could such a fantastic company not realize this problem before going into production". Then she added "no way i'm going agree to buy this floor plan".
B - We then viewed the 44B. No solid problems such as with the two above, but most the living space is occupied by the TV and fireplace, completely eliminating the large couch.
Frustrated and still wanted to have an Entegra we focused on the Cornerstone. In our case we liked the K model. We viewed a new 2013. Instead of the refrigerator problem we have exactly the same situation with the washer dryer access (We were told that this was fixed in 2014). And the refrigerator aft door opens into the granite counter top denting the door. (This was also fixed in 2014).
The Cornerstone looks like it might work for us. I've heard a great deal about tire (wheel) sizes and inadequate axel loading in the 2013 Cornerstone. The one we viewed has a 16,600 front end with 315 tires all around. Folks I talked with say this was a problem in 2013 and fixed in 2014 and again in 2015. Was this really major additional problem with the 2013 production? Is the 2013 K a "white elephant" that I should stay away from?

I know they made space for 365 tires (expanding the wheel well area) up front to work the loading problem. I'm not sure what else is being done in 2015, but that change was supposed to raise the axle loading to 20000#s.
Dusty56 is the most knowledgable owner I know with a 2013 Cornerstone. You might PM him and get his impressions. You might also move this post to the Entegra Owners Forum under Jayco to get a better response. For me, if there was a Cornerstone floor plan that I liked, I'd trade my Anthem for it. You're right about the 44B...it takes salon living space (about 3') away to add to a couple in the rear (45'coach) to change a DEQ into a 1.5 bath. For me it is a bummer. I want the living space. So for the time being, I'm with the DEQ. As to the medicine cabinets, seems silly, but easily modified to rectify for small $s. I hear you on the fridge, but we are able to remove the ice maker...just a little tight. all, JMHO

If the Cornerstone 45K was likable....would the 42 RBQ work? It has the same floorplan except the second sink in the main bath and it is only 2 foot shorter in floor space than a 45 footer. The 42 is actually 43.1 ft.

I called Entegra today and questioned them (again) about the 44SL refrigerator opening problem. They told me that originally they used a side by side refrigerator and "problem solved". But for some reason (economy i'm sure) they changed to the bottom drawer style which created the access problem. Their suggestion is to buy it and then replace the refrigerator with a side by side unit. Seems kind of crazy with a several hundred thousand dollar coach to undertake this kind of project after the purchase.
I would like to hear from someone with the older 44SL with the side by side refrigeration and ask them if it is convenient and not at all cramped?

We have a 2013 Anthem with the side-by-side. It works well for us giving us much more room in the living area as well as potentially two sleeping areas (Both full size sofas).
The fridge is tight, but we haven't had an issue. We just removed the icemaker to fill a cooler. Actually we would have preferred the drawer freezer but that was before we heard about the access issue.
Floorplans are a weakness for Entegra, but the SL is good for us since we prefer not to have a bath and a half. Frankly I haven't seen a plan I like better and after a year in it (Part-time), we've come to really appreciate it.

I added a medicine cabinet to my 44dlq, but I was sure the 2015 had a medicine cabinet from the factory. Maybe it's just the 44dlq that has it from the factory and not the 42dlq. Noel

There is an awesome thread on what Entegra owners and others too have modified their coach to make it their own and to fit their needs. It might be worth having a look, there might be something in there that might help if what you need is a small change.
I think no matter what floor plan you have, there is always some change a person likes. I added comments to the thread "what would you do differently".

Reading your thread reminds me of my DW and the process we went through when choosing our coach. We decided to go with the 45K and had originally ordered a 2014 unit to be delivered in March. After seeing the 2014/2015 Cornerstone at the Tampa show, we decided to go for the 2015, scheduled for June. The 15 is going to have to have the 20,000 lbs front axle plus all the upgrades. This is a rather extensive list and well worth examination prior to your decision. The residential shower was enough for me although there is a lot of other improvements. As you know, if momma ain't happy, NO ONE is happy. Thank God that the DW liked the 45K so I could get the K3!!
