Anthem 44SL or 44 DLQ

I'm trying to decide between these two models and would like feedback and why you either decided on the SL or the DLQ? Moreover, why the 44/45' or 42/43' ft coach? Are there restrictions on the 44/45"? Any difference in handling? And a real rediculous question......MPG!!
Thx............

MPG is not a ridiculous question however there is no perfect answer. It all depends on how fast you drive, terrain, wind, your weight and what you tow, etc. For ballpark figures, check out http://www.irv2.com/forums/f113/ente...ge-128258.html

We chose the DLQ primarily because the additional 2 ft makes the coach feel roomier. This is especially true in the bathroom area. We prefer that the potty is in its own little room and not grouped with the shower. I don't feel that the 44 will be any more difficult to drive than the 42 - it does however depend on your own comfort level.

We like the SL because on the DLQ the bedroom is not accessible with the bedroom slide closed. We do a lot of quick overnights at Walmart etc with the slides closed. Also, SL has separate vanities. We think we would be on top of each other too much with the dual vanity in the DLQ.

As for 44 vs 42 (or more correctly, 45 Vs 43) The bigger coach has substantially more basement storage. I don't think the extra 2 feet would have any appreciable effect on gas mileage or handling, but it could be a limitation in fitting into a campground occasionally. Worth the tradeoff, in my opinion, but that is a very personal decision.
