You are right Noel on both counts. But every floorplan has its strengths and weaknesses and involves compromises. You pick the set of compromises that suits you best (or annoys you the least).

Neal, would you post a picture of your living area showing the table/chairs and DS couch? Thanks.

Thanks, Marc. Very nice! I wish Entegra offered that setup as an option - Tiffin does and I know it is quite popular. Thanks again for sharing.

Entegra did offer it as an option, that's what I ordered from them. But they may have discontinued it, not sure.

The cabinets behind the recliners are something that I had added. It came with a blank wall in that area.

For us the DLQ was perfect and still is. In reading about the differences between the DLQ and SL, the deal breaker for us in the SL is the lack of the 2nd window on the DS bedroom slide. We like to open both windows and get cross ventilation across the head of the bed. Also the linen closet in the DLQ is larger than the SL. One advantage I see in the SL, tho, is that the PS couch is longer which would be nice.

Thanks to everyone who chimed in on this thread. I now have what I needed.

Very true. We deal with it by opening the one window by the bed and running the bathroom exhaust fan, which pulls air in through the window and across the bed. But it is a workaround and not what I would prefer.
