Anthem Height?
On Entegra's site it shows 153 -155 inches. Are different floorplans different heights? I am trying to figure out if my Anthem DEQ (on order) will fit in my currrent shop. 153 minus the air dump will fit. 155 is pushing it. This is a game of inches...LOL

I figure mine at 13 feet. It might be an inch or two less. Hard to measure precisely. I have heard of people lettng air out of tires to go through the door and then airing up again.

My Monaco Camelot is 12'10''. I dump the air out of the suspension and it fits in my shop which measures 12'5". My plan is to dump the air out of the Anthem and hopefully it fits. It will be close.

I've yet to figure out how to "dump air" without extending the jacks?

I think you need to rethink your plan. The Anthem does not have a manual dump air control like your Monaco does.

It works I have tested it. You start the leveling process and as soon as it dumps the air you turn off the system before jacks deploy.

So how much lower is an Anthem riding on the "rails" vs fully inflated? I'd be scared to death that I'd screw up this procedure on the in or out of a marginally close door height.

5 years doing this with my Monaco and no mishaps. My Monaco with air leveling starts to air up as soon As I put it in reverse to back it in. I have to keep my finger on the lower all corners button as I back in the shop. I will be building a new shop soon.

There have been a few posts here where people have not aired up properly and one drove though I believe Houston with has airbags deflated on his newly purchased Anthem. No damage was done, it just rode bad.
Found the post http://www.irv2.com/forums/f278/why-...te-196480.html

Unfortunately, with the Entegra's the jacks are going down and close to the ground before the air dumps. I haven't tried it, but once the air dumps you may be able to power the system down and then power back up and run the jacks back up manually. Noel

As soon as you press the jacks up button, the air valve closes and the airbags start to reinflate. You would have to be very quick getting it under the doorway or have a major problem.
I should think that a knowledgeable technician could easily install a valve bypass switch that would keep the dump valve open indefinately while the switch is on.

You can drive an Entegra with deflated air bags as explained in the post above. It has been done "by accident" many times and can be done on purpose. Just don't turn the front wheels.
