I guess I will continue to drive the MH the way I drove trucks....gear down and let the engine work comfortably. With the trucks I had a 16 gear Browning (going back many years) then a 13 speed Road Ranger to work with, with the MH I only have 6...not a lot you can do there.

Everyone, i just thought i would share that little bit of information about torque moving weight and horsepower equaling speed! The techs theory worked as he said and NO i DO NOT drive my coach that way to get 10mpg, i drive it like i stole it most the time but if i want to worry with fuel mileage i now the trick to get better than 6-8mpg! I work on oilrigs drilling wells so Major oil companies get the crude out the ground so we can use it. Some people may have liked to have known that if they were over budget on a trip or whatever. But, if we can afford a coach like we all have gas burner or diesel not a dang one of us can complain about fuel mileage! Ya'll keep burning the fuel, it's my job security!!! From this point on i will just read and keep my comments and fixes for anything to myself. Good Day!

Tony

Tony, your job is safe with me. I can't stand to drive 55 MPH on the Interstate making every one go around me and I don't care much for those in front of me that do.

We travel many scenic highways where the speed limit is 55, but with a few small towns thrown in, there is no fuel savings.

I did OK with a 350 for several years and if he 450 won't do what the 350 did, MPG and pulling power....I found that used MH are easy to sell

Please continue to share your information with us, there are some that enjoyed it. I know your formula could work, it is nice to hear that it can be done.
