Any idea how much???

I have a friend that is selling a Fleetwood coach and is interested in a Tiffin or Entegra.

I've been teaching him about some of the differences, and am encouraging him to consider a clean used coach, and modify the Main Salon / Living Room to accommodate their specific tastes.

The three things they really want are: L-Shaped couch, Larger TV opposite couch, and free standing table and chairs. They don't care for the TV over the fireplace.

I found a DEQ at MHSRV that is a good candidate, but have no idea how much it would cost to install an L-Shaped couch, table and chairs, and Televator with TV.

Has anyone done this, or pieces of this and have any idea of prices? I've suggested he would be looking at around $20-25K all up.

Thanks,

-Matt

I think he could do it for that price or less. Where is he located? Maybe we can give him shome shops to call for prices.

Many people have been removing the L-shaped couches because they are uncomfortable or because they want recliner couches, so there may be some good used ones around.

Hi Matt -- we just bought a new Entegra and I've sold one of the couches on Facebook -- a group called Second Time Around RV Resaleswap --https://www.facebook.com/groups/secondtimearoundrvresaleswap/. The buyer is getting a great deal I've seen L shaped couches for sale on this site as well -- worth checking out. I've also heard from friends that have the L shape couches they don't like them as they are uncomfortable.

We are planning to take our RV to Texas Custom Coach for modifications -- I don't have experience to share yet -- but I have found a lot of reviews on here from others with high regards for this shop (and a much better hourly labor rate than most shops). It's located in my home state in the beautiful Hill Country.

I agree with you -- (if you can find 1 or 2 years old) is the way to go. Good luck to your friend!

Marc, he's in the Houston area, so I've been encouraging his to talk to Angie at NIRVC, and to see about having them do the renovations.

Fortunately, he's comfortable with a clean used unit which could save a lot of money.

Thanks,

-Matt

Okay, I have a good source for this work in Florida, one in Indiana and one in Oregon but none of them probably work for him.

Sounds like your friend is awfully close to wanting the Entegra 44b
Plan... might just look for one of those.. insignia up to cornerstone..
There out there... with no hassle of modification or remodel

In Indiana I would contact Paul Conley at 574-209-2980 or Precision Paint & Interiors at 574-546-2406. Also, there are a couple of Indiana firms that advertise in the FMCA magazine who appear to be active and qualified in this area.

Thanks guys. The B is a nice setup. I think he was surprised a new Insignia is only $250K.

I have been looking at that too, seems like a good deal. New 17 CS are going for about 460K and that one is 429k OBO. Temped myself.

We would suggest MC MILLER CUSTOMS in Wakarusa, In

Meghan Miller or PJ Miller

574-862-4893

New Debut RV - by M.C. Miller Customs

They removed our fireplace/tv in our 2016 A and installed cabinets for electronics, hung the tv on an arm, installed a Lambright sleeper sofa, wall woodwork etc. all for a very reasonable price. ( less then $6K )

MC MILLER, S & S and Paul Conley are all located a few hundred feet apart in Wakarusa.

We have no experience with Paul Conley but WOULD NOT recommend Precision Interiors !

Have him look for a 44B. If he REALLY does not like the fireplace (I was not sure my attitude, but now love it and use it all the time on crisp mornings) but if he really hates it, have Miller rip out the fireplace, mount the TV some other way, and put in whatever the heck he wants instead of the fireplace instead of the fireplace and he can do it for a fraction of the kind of money that you were mentioning.... Some of the "L"s are not comfortable.... some of them are fine.... my 15 is very comfortable. And it has the dinnette table so the only variant is the fireplace and that would be easy to change out.
